There's a big difference between the two title when you translate it to tagalog: Queen City of the South - Cebu City (Ang reyna ng mga siyudad sa Timog) And Queen's city of the South - ilo ilo city (Ang paboritong siyudad ng reyna sa timog) Remember: there is an ('s) in Queen's when the queen of Spain gave that title to ilo ilo city. If you ask any ilonggo what's the difference between the two, they will not answer you but ignore you and change the topic quickly because they know they did wrong when translating the spanish word of that title into english and tagalog. PS: 'hindi mga Cebuano/a ang nagbansag ng title na yan sa Cebu City kundi mga mainstream media, newspaper writers and actors, actress, tv host based in manila in the late 80s at early 90s. Cebuanos and Cebuanas are very proud to call Cebu City as Siyudad sa Sugbo or Cebu as a whole as Probinsya sa Sugbo.
