Probably the best coaching decision of the entire 2019 season. Raps don't make it past the Bucks (most likely) or win against GSW without VanVleet. He had a tough start, and the 76ers were a matchup nightmare for him because of their size/length, but dude was LIT in rounds 3 and 4. Kudos to Coach Nurse.

Notice just how many of these buckets were when the Raptors were down, in a scoring drought, or tied. Fred has been a cool operator since I've been watching him at Wichita State, always hustling hard and never out of control. Playing phenomenal defense on a HOFer, a unanimous mvp, and a 3 time champ while scoring clutch buckets. Numbers show that Steph scores the fewest points per possession vs ANYONE in the league while guarded by Fred! 12 4th quarter points in a close out championship game 6, that's why he got the MVP vote. Kawhi is better no doubt and he had a better series, but Fred deserves some shine for his stunning work!
