Tried streamyard and was not too excited about it either, but way better than a Zoom. Found you guys and it has been great! We are learning and helpful tips on how to market our podcast is great. We are multilingual (English, Russian, Polish), so it is a bit tricky.

Hi @Riversidefm In your opinion, is there a good reason not to use Riverside to record an in person 2 people podcast with 2 computers (or mobile devices) each connected to a USB mic and on the same wifi network ? I've seen plenty of podcasts where speakers are without any headphones, just mics with boom arms. Audio quality is awesome on the final cut. Does it make sense to really have 2 pairs of bulky headphones?

So, as the host, I am plugging headphones into mic or right into MacBook? Are there certain sound settings we should have in terms of input/output etc. I did a test with a friend on zoom and I could hear her through my headphones, but I couldn't hear myself. Should I also be hearing my own voice to know if the sound is ok? (I'm going to be using riverside for recording, the zoom call was just an equipment test)

I’ve been struggling for the past hour and not sure where to drop this question - has anyone had any issues with Riverside not playing well with the Lewitt Connect 6? I can send my mic just fine into Riverside, but it won’t pick up anything else sent through the interface, like my mobile in. However, they all record fine through Audition on the same computer, so I know they are being routed through the interface correctly. I’m baffled.

No, if you just need two wired heaphones, you can connect both directly to the Vocaster. No additional amplifier needed. If you need more than two, then you should get an amplifier
