Thanks apliiq, the music was slightly overwhelming over the commentary but nonetheless much appreciated! *UPDATE* We did order a Tultex sample from apliiq and wanted to share from our experience that we ordered true-to-size and the garment did shrink a whole size down after 1 wash.

Appreciate you sharing!!! In general, the higher the cotton content, the more potential for shrink. 🙏🙏 The tultex hoodies are 80% cotton 20% poly, so significant cotton contents. In general, most brands WILL NOT prewash hoodies, because they want to keep that interior fleece immaculate. 😉 Using pigment dyed garments like the PRM line from ITC, are PREWASHED so they will have minimal shrinkage. Hope that helps!

Thanks for this! I ordered the IND5000 with a DTG print and I can confirm what was said in the video. Not ideal but still I am very happy with the outcome. Really appreciate your efforts!

Yeah, we've printed thousands and noticed it's not the BEST printing surface. We do love embroidery, labeling, and embroidered patches for ind5000! Also, we just love the IND5000s not that many super high quality hoodies out there!

For my brand, I always lean towards the Independent Trading Co hoodies. Customers love them and the quality is amazing. I would love to see a wider range of their products available in the Apliiq catalog. Thanks for rocking this review.

@@apliiq Oh man so many. But I think having a lightweight option like SS1000 would be cool. Other cool options would be: PRM90HTZ EXP90SHZ IND4000 - but in the two color options like the grey heather / currant AFX4000 IND40RP PRM33SBP

Which is best out the independant for printing then if the last one isn't? 4000?

Both IND4000 & SS4500 have very good printing results. IND5000 is heavier weight and has much more texture in it, so it's better for embroidery, and not as ideal for DTG (although you can still get good results). Hope that helps!

Of course the "women's" hoodie wouldn't have pockets GAHH!! Thanks for the very detailed descriptions y'all! I'm in the process of expanding my catalog and am interested in what y'all got going on. Pretty unique company! A suggestion tho ... Next time would you possibly mind showing lighter colored products. Black just absorbs so much light that it was really hard to see how the hoodies looked. I honestly couldn't even see the front pocket on any of them, it just looked like your hands disappeared every time you stuck them in the pocket 😅. Those are a nice crisp black tho!

3:30 I ordered a sample DTG from them and after one wash, half of the print peeled off. Customer service told me, due to the treatment of the garment the inks don't blend in the fabric. Told me to just choose another type of garment next time i want to DTG print.

I feel like I just went to hoodie college! This is helpful, good work! It would be great if you had samples on hand at your facility so one could come and visit, select the garment they wanted to work with and rock out. To buy a ton of samples in order to figure out what you want to go with is not ideal...

Hey guys! Just wondering what size are you wearing for the IND5000? I’m trying to create a premium streetwear hoodie with it and I’d like it to be more oversized and I was wondering if that hoodie fits looser than the IND4000? I’d really appreciate some help!

Hey Mathieu, I would recommend sizing up on the IND5000 if you want oversized. They have a relaxed fit, but are not an oversized fit.
