cerave SA cleanser for normal to oily skin, differin gel adapalene, ordinary azelaic acid. adapalene takes 12 weeks to see results so be patient, and it can be drying and burning (pain). You should start with only azelaic acid (only takes 2 weeks to see results and not as drying), and if that isnt enough then go for adapalene, but remember to use moisturizer. and sunscreen@@shavonnehenchell7731

Azelaic acid is my favorite. It’s cleared up my skin SO much. SA worked for my skin but only cleared it so much, I feel like it never cleared my deeper congestion like AA does. Also if you’re using acids. Don’t over use them. I saw a comment on here saying it ruined their skin, I’m guessing they over used them or used too high of percentages for their skin. That will over exfoliate your skin and cause break outs from irritation. A lot of people use tretinoin and AA together and it works great. You just have to find what works for your skin. I use Paula’s choice AA but it is quite pricey for a lot of people. I want to find a different AA that’s not as expensive but I’m scared to try anything else. I also really like that it was the .5 of SA and licorice root in it. I have thought of trying a higher percentage of AA. I also use Naturiums glycolic acid resurfacing 10% and omg it’s so amazing. I wake up with beautiful skin the next day. If your skin isn’t used to acids, like when mine was used to them I used to put a light lotion on first (cerave daily lotion) and then I’d put on whatever strong acid I had. Eventually I didn’t have to do that. Anyway these are just some tips I thought I’d share.

I just started using salicylic acid gel cleanser 5 days ago. It was from a Korean brand called Skinfood. I wasn't expecting a lot from it since it was just a facial wash but I was so surprised at how it helped dry out my cystic acne, loosened closed comedones and "fungal acne". Unfortunately, I have all three as I live in a hot, humid, climate. So yes, salicylic acid face wash can work wonders.

Believe me or not. But for me cutting out pasta and exofoliate 3x times a week with salicylic acid and eat brocolli everyday for a month made it all go away. My little sister had this problem too and I told her to cut it out and it work. For me pasta was the high carb , maybe you eat another high carb regularly. You can test yourself by eating a high carb like pasta 4 day after each other, if the CC increase or more acne come, that my be the reason.
