Well the average of the entire PC1 and PC2 was just above 91. Usually these are between 92-93, especially rising towards the end of the year, where most of the majors are.

One of the best matches I've ever seen. Everyone chirping on about Littler, and absolutely rightly so. But wow, Searle was an absolute powerhouse this game, and a testament to his mentality sticking in there smashing darts non-stop. Not many (barely any) players ever could have took Littler to a last leg with this quality. Great stuff.

Lots of deserved praise for Littler but props to Searle. No matter how hard Littler went, Searle was just about able to hang on and stay with him and could have nicked it in the final leg. It would have been so easy to collapse after seeing the standard Littler was setting but Searle kept finding a new gear every time he needed to.

Without doubt. Jheez, I have been watching since the early 1980's. Eric the King passed the baton on to Phil the power Taylor. The best thing they ever did was break away and form the PDC. Sky then took it to a new level and they haven't looked back since. Remember when 100 average was AMAZING and 9 darters were rare? Now 100 is standard and 9 darters are thrown for fun! I really have enjoyed fhe evolution of darts. It seems mad to look back at the top pro's throwing then taking a swig from a pint of beer and having a fag🤣🤣..Oh I WISH Sid Waddell was alive to see these players..The king of the one liners, best commentator to ever live...imagnie some of the things he would be saying..RIP SID..The darting world is in good hands 🙏
