7:37 I misspoke. Event psychubes are available for purchase in the psychube shop about 3 updates from their release ie. Luxurious Leisure was the event psychube for v1.1 and is now available for purchase beginning v1.4. So we will be able to purchase Silent and Adoring psychube from the psychube shop beginning v1.7, which would be around July-Aug 2024 in global r99.

Very informative, and yes Amp benefits more to psychubes specifically for DPS, especially the event ones where it's designed for a specific character. Another way I look at Amplification is that it's an alternative, gacha-friendly way to anyone pressured into pulling Portrays for a character to "function properly". I've seen this when people think they have to p5 37 or Jiu or Charlie to be good. No you don't have to. Instead of dumping all gacha pulls a F2P or light spenders have to an S-tier character and risk not having enough for the next one, you can just amplify the Psychubes and level up Insights. For example, the main source of damage for Jiu is in her Psychube "Outside the City", NOT from Portrays, because she does so many crit follow-ups from turn 5 onwards. So amplifying the Psychube will make Jiu a terrifying crit monster, especially in Raids. Or in 37's case, it's a whopping 50% increased follow-up damages. None of these has anything to do with spending your precious gacha pulls. So I recommend doing everything else for your character first before pulling for Portrays. It's tempting, yes (this is a gacha game after all), but R99 is very fair to you as a F2P/light spender if you know what to do.

That is a great way to look at amplifications! 💡I love it that there is not a “weapon banner” like a lot of other gachas do. One less thing for F2P to worry about.

From the wording of the Luxurious Leisure psychube's bonus, I just realised that it says it increases damage dealt, rather than it just providing ultimate might (I haven't tested this though, could just be weirdly translated). I always misread the effect to be identical to Melania's insight bonus, which specifically boosts her ultimate damage.

Oh interesting. Yeah, there are ambiguities here and there with the translation. Generally speaking, people understand the amp effect to apply to ultimate damage only.

It might be a translation error. The psychube is currently only available in CN. I am almost certain it meant ultimate might, not ritual might.

I wanna call attention to Yearning Desire. It's a 5* chube that grants a 16% dmg boost at max amp but you only need one Stats Down OR Neg Status to trigger it unlike BoN. I would highly recommend it for F2Ps or people who have Jessica but no Sotheby.

A Second Life A5, imo, somewhat useful if you need to focus more on damage and can tank long enough/clear fast enough or need a secondary healing source for comfort (its stats are unevenly distributed however) 😥

I'm a Thunderous Applaus Stan, but I would only use it on a handful of characters. IF you can reliably crit 100%, then TA5 adds +16% total damage to your character vs other psychubes that only grant +12% tops. Lilya, Centurion, Shamane, and probably 37 would be the only ones i might consider using it on, so it wouldn't be as useful as the ones you listed in your video.

I amplified the Hop to lv3 I plan to raise it to the maximum, since it is a cube that I use in each dps of my team and since I only have one ST ultimate character I left the LL for later so for the moment I am with that my plans are to amplify Hop>BnW>LL>BoN

for f2p and slow in farming psycube currency yeandering desire is such a good psycube for a 5 star tier, much better option even for jessica the bonus from debuff on enemy just need 1 status unlike blashphemer of the night need 2 status and much more cheaper to max upgrade and amplified, and also bkronblume with yeandering desire just get rid of your problem with her ult

Hello, Turtle. I just started playing rev1999 in 1.3, and I have a question regarding psycube on the resource management side. Should I aim for a level 60 cube for 4 main cubes, or is level 50 good enough for now and save for future cubes? I currently have Hopscotch(Inc. Might), Carat of the Heart (Crit), Thunderous Applause (Crit), and Inquisitive Dear (Heal) at 50. Also, out of these 4, which one is the best to amplify first?

Aim for lvl 60 for your four main psychubes. It will help with the overall dmg output and tankiness of your units. I would say of those four, Hopscotch would be the most worthwhile to amplify because your main dps will likely be on that one. Either that or save your gluttony for luxurious leisure psychube when you are finally able to purchase it from the shop. It is the most broken psychube in the game by a mile and it is a limited psychube meaning only one per account.

An extra action is a follow up attack. On global only Lilya, 37 and Ms Newbabel can do them. Lilya does them on her single target skill if she crits, 37 does them as part of her insight passive and Babel does it as a counter mechanic on her ult skill.

You all are amazing! That's right, an extra action is basically a follow-up attack. Currently Lilya, Ms. Newbabel, 37, and Kaalaa Baunaa are capable of casting extra actions when certain conditions are met. In the future, Jiu Niangzi in v1.6 will also deepen the follow-up attack roster.

It's not that deep. You can clear all content with amp 0 chubes anyways and if you have single target crit characters, max amp TA is actually pretty good

Luxurious Leisure is available in the psychube shop as of this update v1.4. It is the best-in-slot psychube for single-target ultimate dps and is quite broken. I recommend this as your next psychube to amplify once you purchase it.

No problem, there are more characters now with decent crit rate who appreciate the additional boost from thunderous applause. It is one of the better psychube out there.

I think it is worth it! Your p3 37 is somewhere between sub-dps to main-dps at this point. The amplification boost multipliers are kinda insane with silent and adoring. A jump from Amp1 10% extra genesis dmg via f/u atks to Amp5 50% bonus is significant imo.

I thought Luxurious Leisure amplifies all damage by 5-9% after using a single target ult. I heard you say it only amplifies the subsequent ultimates' damage. Did I overestimated this psychube all this time? xD

From my understanding, Luxurious leisure boosts the ultimate damage only. So not the incantation damage. The wording is a bit weird. Still an excellent psychube.
