BEST Punjabi Thaali with LASSI I Maa Ki Dal & TRIANGLE Parantha I BAISAKHI Celebrations in PUNJAB

Today's episode is about last our year's visit to the city of Jalandhar to experience the festive gaiety surrounding the festival of Baisakhi. Baisakhi is a major festival of Punjab that is celebrated in the month of April and that marks the beginning of harvesting season. It also marks the foundation of the Khalsa community of the Sikhs by Guru Gobind Singh. The festival is celebrated with great fanfare and spirit.
We started the day by visiting the Gurdwara with our host Naina. Devotees had gathered there in large numbers to seek blessings. After paying obeisance we partook the langar prasad along with meethe chawal, which is primary dish prepared during this festival.
Next we went to Haveli restaurant to try their Baishakhi special spread. The place is wonderfully decorated with quintessential artifacts related to Punjabi culture and tradition. This huge restaurant was colourful, vibrant and cheerful. Their Baishakhi thali was as stunning as their ambience. It was an amalgamation of traditional Punjabi fares that were delicious. Our host Gehna enlightened us both about the place and the food. After the meal we visited their other section which is a representation of a quintessential Punjabi village with great attention to details. This place was like a museum as well where some records of the glorious heritage have been nicely presented. Here too they have a food section where you get the 'maa ke hath ka paratha'. Although we were full, we had to try it because. It was simply outstanding.

Sabse pehle... thanks to 'DFW'.. for the gurudwara darshan, which i was really looking forward to in this episode.. The punjabi thali at 'Haveli' nd the 'maa ki dal te bebe da parontha'... seemed very deliicious.. and everything in it was a must for a punjabi menu... Not to miss the ambiance of the restaura'.. where they ve showcased the 'punjabi' heritage beautifully.. People today not only are enjoying the traditional culture... but they are also absorbing it into their lifestyle, though slowly.. Ji hanji.. 'aap sabhi nu vaisakhi di lakh lakh vadhaiyaan'..🙏

Wonderful episode on Haveli. Long time ago we have enjoyed the food here with family members. This is the place where you witness the Punjabi Culture, Traditions, Life Style & Live Food Preparation. Its wonderful to see whole Punjab around you while enjoying the Cuisine. It's also worth a visit here than visiting any five star hotel or resorts to spend a good time with Family.

Haveli has been serving brilliant food from the starting and never compromise on Quality. Jalandhar Haveli is the Best and this video took me down the Memory Lane when we used to eat at Haveli every weekend from 2007-2012 during my college days.........
