nah dark iron is only decent in raid, but since your racial is a primary stat boost u want to use with your CDs, you don't wanna delay the racial for poison, curses, bleeds etc...whereas dwarves can really focus their racial purely on utility.

Female Draenei are my favorite I just wish I could see the transmog boots instead of their hooves. Same with Worgen and Taurens.

I stay exclusively in visage form but Dracthyr has been a pretty great time on my hunter. Having an extra knockback and the glide ability has been extremely useful in basically every type of content in the game.

Arcane Torrent can be usefull too, for example the gorm mobs in mists or the mobs in boralus doing this shield thing, if nobody interrupt (classic in pugs) u can just aoe purge them.

most of my chars are void elves. human and dwarf. got 1 kultiran monk, 1 dark iron rogue, high mountain druid. actually i would like to play lightforged draenei, maghar orcs more but their racials are very underwhelming. maybe that's gonna change with the buffs, but currently i am fine with ny choices and I don't want to pay money for 0,1% dps difference. even with 3% dmg increase i wouldn't play a freaking gnome...

I'd play nothing but Mechagnome, if they weren't just reskinned gnomes. Imagine, if your normal walking around would be like Gallywix on his mechanic spider, but maybe just a little taller than a normal gnome, or dwarf... That would be awesome. Just Mechagnome being more Mecha than Gnome, would be all I need.

Night Elf is by far the best race for general gameplay if your class can’t drop combat. I’m constantly getting stuck in combat for no apparent reason. It’s infuriating, and seems to be getting worse with every expansion.

Yeah, I have a lot of trouble with that in certain delves. Its annoying as hell, and even feigning death on my hunter doesn't get rid of it all the time.

For BM this video has it wrong since it's using the data from bloodmallet where the hunter profile wasn't updated for the current patch (profile has been since deleted to not show any data what so ever in bloodmallet), causing the sim to pretty much only do autoshots,trinkets and pot. Making racials that do flat damage look good. In reality tauren/dwarf are so far ahead of lightforged that the difference is pretty much a trinket worth of dps. In my current gear the difference is about 2.4% (34k dps) which is more than my character would get from upgrading the heroic queen's mandate to mythic one. As far as I know it's wrong for MM and SV aswell but I'm not sure what the exact bis race for them is since I haven't checked it. For SV the bug where pets gain extra crit damage from tauren/dwarf also exists which is the reason why those two are the best for BM.

would be cool if there would be a race for solo players, idk, like if you are not in a party in delve or in any instance you get some benefits like more healing or max hp or whatever, i started playing this game for like 2 month and i have to say, if you are absolutely not into this game and u start really from zero, it can be difficult sometimes...and i know you get some help in the delves from brann but still, could be something usefull to have a race like that...
