BEST Raid for Farming Copper, Plastic, and Electronics | CROSSOUT Tips and Tricks

Hey everyone! I know copper is not a very valuable resource so keep in mind this raid works REALLY good for Plastic. With fuel prices soaring, I want to make the most resources for my fuel. You should be able to earn 50 plastic from FD plastic raid which is my usual go to. Especially during all these events that are coming! The only reason I played hard copper was to show how much it actually scales. the number 500 looks cooler than 50 for a thumbnail. Good luck out there.

first : frontier defense is 3 players catalina arbiters (for lunatics arbiters have no knockback so you kill them faster compared to retchers who scatter damage and ragdoll lunatic builds. otherwise : 3 whirlwinds or stillwinds) , 1 inci. second : the coin per hour (CPH) is abysmal compared to invasions : 202 copper for 1 min 15 and 40 fuel. You re better off farming invasions , selling the copper and buying whatever you need. If you play without a team in raids : what are you doing there in the first place. Why would you care about a specific resistance of a random faction : you take max DPS , it works on any faction.

Invasion is and probably always will be my favourite mode for farming copper, might not be the most efficient, but if you have a team with 1 Acari and 3 retcher towers its so damn chill and fast. I just enjoy it quite a bit more then those 10min raids

Invasion for sure is fast and pays out pretty good. This one just pays out and insane amount and if you have a team and doppler for this one, you could probably do it in 7 minutes or less with fast cars. Invasion is also a good one.

Also, I only chose copper for this raid to show the scale of payout. This raid for plastic is REALLY nice as you can get 50 plastic per raid if you score enough.

Yeah for sure. Im not big on doing raids anymore but when I do, I want it to pay out well. Especially since the price of Fuel in XO has only been going up.

i just used to take retchers to finish raids fast.. relics working in raids no problem.. little bots full of explosives anyway. always let the turrets die,

Great video as always. I noticed that my normal raid build melted so fast last night. I was thinking that it might have been some dev change, but maybe not? I chose the fused Pulsars but have not used them yet. Now I need to put together a build with my new Hadron cabin and king mine. I’ll check out your builds on the exhibition first.

yes it gives a little more resources. But the games take 2x longer (3x maybe) I just want a Uranium Raid.... Because only a small percentage of people can actually earn uranium..

Hugomaster: ever since I got the flash I made a flash skadi build and thats the recipe you are looking for for maximazing dmg and striping everything from the enemy for extra points. Shivs also help the build I just run around and dmg all perfect for achievments aswell since u hit all targets. It was made for pvp but sometimes I run it in pve if I feel like runing around the map

no matter the faction, retcher jackie catalina colossus/pegasus on tengus is the best u can can get, exepct when it's frontier defense on crater, then catalina 3x whirlwind is the best, u can get to over 100 000 dmg and make over 60 plastic (w premium) per win, + duable in 5min if evryone runs that build. imo, the only good raids r 1st : crater fd against steppenwolves, 2nd both perimeter breach map as long as it's not agaisnt the dawn's children (perimeter breach duable in 3min with the first build by rushing non stop, can earn up to 39 plastic w premium, still a decent ammount of ressources) and 3rd steel cradle if u just wanna do ur weeklies, bad ressources/raid ratio but duable with one friend in less than 2 min, and with a team in a littler over 1min i think. with full team i heard last covoy was the best time per plastic per raids with specific builds, but i don't have a team so can't confirm

also i'm pretty sure hard raids are not worth it, u're better off farming plastic raids, selling the plastic high, and buying copper low, u make a bit of profit + u save 20 fuel each raid u do, just for that plastic is technicaly 40-50% better ressources wise

Not using auto cannons or machine guns because of 5% resistance is very questionable tbh^^

T Other factions have higher numbers. I think Steppenwolf's has like 25% bullet resistance and maybe blast resistance if I recall correct so they would have a double resistance to something like auto canons.

You should score raid points for damage done by turrets you install/repair. Otherwise they're pretty much useless (like you said they steal points), unless you're only two in on hard.

been grinding hard.... Fused an omnibox cab and trying to fuse my Kensei cab. Thinking about crafting some maulers. Maybe I should be saving resources? No news about whats coming yet?

i think it's only best to do frontier defence in a group, especially after using the 200 daily fuel. retcher catalina / imp catalina and one guy on incins is a great setup for this raid. with some mates we usually get around 7 minutes for lunatics and 8-9 minutes for other factions. i wish they kept the 1 hour raid rotation that we had before :(

Im honestly not sure if the resistances from X structural parts work properly in raids, i had an anti Dawn's Children raid vehicle with the only structural parts that had high resistance to energy and it lasted about the same as a regular build, im not sure if it works the other way around.

for sure if you are looking at one particular all around raid weapon. I like to use different weapons and not just one build all the time personally. As we see in this video, you can still take MVP and a ton of resources with anything. Mainly just use whatever the bots weakness is and they crumble really fast.

I really want to but targem has me hooked with the FOMO. I think I'm going to hold my 2 starfalls, unfused and wait to see if they are used in a future relic recipe or the price goes up. If not, I'll just have two starfalls to play with for a while.

No they are not different. This is lunatic faction so generally have lower health than others.

I can almost hear the devs typing out patch notes to nerf frontier defense now! Jk jk, definitely the only one worth running tho. Any predictions on holiday events? I took a few years off the game after some burnout and frustration, from what I can tell Christmas 2023 was a fusion event? Not sure if they do anything significant from now until then or for new years? Trying to balance conserving resources but also taking advantage of mini passes to catch up for lost time if anything I want is in them.

Keep a look out for relic craft events and fusion events really. Last year was the first year of discounted relic crafting. This past Halloween that brought it back for limited relics and made you grind the special holiday resource. I imagine Christmas events will be similar. That is the event I think most people are focusing on.

@ good point, appreciate it, slowly building up some uranium from BFU, still short of the 200 - 300 I think they were in the Halloween event, but hopefully catch some more before then if they have another BFU before the next event.

I want ahead and got 2 tsunami with the event pass. They are pretty decent on a dino build with the bwc I want a 2nd slaughterer from the battle pass so I'm grinding for that

Turret points are negligible. You put maybe 6 turrets in the entire raid, 30 pts out of your 1800 score.

It could have been better for sure. I'd like to try a raid where we just keep letting the bots destroy level 1 turrets and everyone spams ALL their point for level 1s.

This is for copper, electronics, or plastic. I usually do plastic but I wanted to show scale so I used copper as the reward.

@ShockRadioGaming you missed the point. Using your gas for copper is a poor use of it compared to getting plastic or Electronics as that is one of the ways to acquire was my point. Steering newer players in the direction of using free resources to farm more profitable materials for resale

Copper in patrol is a terrible payout and it uses fuel.

@ShockRadioGaming I don't use fuel anymore for I've played out on raids. Other than if I do Invasions. My patrols for copper I use for my dailies. Otherwise I'm just pointing out the use of gas for copper in raids versus for plastic and electronics for less time invested players is the better choice IMO

I was thinking that but I was also considering they have a big of blast damage I believe. I don't think it would even really matter but something to consider. I will have to double check to see if they have any explosion radius to there shots.
