Imagine this game built using the latest engine with graphics alike cyberpunk 77. And you can go out of your truck, talk to random people, eat on patrol stations. Changing weather based on your location and season. Cops actually following and stopping you if you fucked up. I'd play.

imagine 10 years ...and the game is still in this stage of objects and small DLC maps! the game has been abandoned for a long time, it is only supported by children who play on their grandparents' computer ... there is no point in talking about the old game engine that is from the time of the old java nokia's phone... even if you install the game completely in RAM and run it from there ... it will still be jerky framerates and problems, becouse the engine does not know how to use computer hardware, especially today's advanced technology ... i truly apologise to all involved if I insult you all (and I probably do), but this is still going after hundreds of posts with all kind of highly technical advise from a lot of "smart people". i've been playing games for 40+ years (Atari, ZX, VIC 20 et al), and I've been building my own PC's since the late 80's... the ETS2-engine is a no-brainer, not very optimised, not very aware of utilisation of the hardware. not very hard to get running (within its limitations) on reasonably ok hardware.... all theories on modern SSD's and the inner workings of modern Windows-versions is nonsense. i've been testing the ETS2-engine, loading the whole game into RAM, and storing the the game on a SSD NVMe RAID0 (and running on a AMD Threadripper and a 2080TI), it still lags in some situations.....

For arayas suer traffic... I would still do Alex's VOlatile or realistic traffic depending on what I am looking for in a journey.... The ratio's are awesome as well as the density. just balanced. And the speeds and most importantly; intersections

The Super Traffic mod is realistic but who wants to get caught in traffic in a video game ? I tried one for ATS but driving in the desert with lots of traffic is not so realistic. Great video btw

I think It is much nicer and realistic to try on big cities like LA. Just the entire California in ATS in general you need to try that mods on. Maybe It wont be nice to try on very small population states like Wyoming.

I use Project Next Gen (payware) for graphics as this has sky, vegetation and road textures. It looks great and was quite easy to purchase and install. Can anyone comment about whether JBX is better ? The process for payment and installation seems like headache ...

I run ETS 2 on an RX 560 with a traffic pack, Realistic Weather, and some mods and everything is fine. I do get frame drops in populated areas or when there is really bad weather, but other than that its fine. Your 1650 will def be able to run these modes. EDIT: Forgot to mention, Im on max graphics too

I mean i dont know how i will recognize it for sure this new Brutal Weather is huge mod its like you got realistic rain in it right?but can it work together with realistic graphic? if i put this Brutal weather 5.5 on first priority which is also recomended to do so.I don know if this can work together maybe i can try Realistic graphic mode on its own test it and then play it with brutal weather if there are any differencies..really dont know it would be awesome to have it together.
