I don’t get all the dislike for Chock. It’s obvious he really cares about Joan. I believe he genuinely loves her. They’re very similar in a lot of ways especially in how they express feelings. Joan said their love language is touch so to her he’s not smothering. He’s a corporate guy not big on tv so maybe it’s awkwardness people are picking up. But I think they’re perfect for each other and wish them the best. They look so happy and in love.

I absolutely agree that chock kissing her to prove his love was completely disrespectful to Joan and her children, he should have asked her how she would feel about that. She had way better men to select from, she boiled it down to a man accused of stalking (which should have disqualified him from the show, hello casting crew?) and this possessive creep.
