In a season that has felt more manufactured and produced than most seasons, having the final three women stay in the same room together during Fantasy Suite week is the most f*cked up thing they've done so far. It's very clear that once Hometown week starts, the women are separated from here on out. So is it not enough for this production team to let Madison and Peter have an honest conversation with each other without having to emotionally terrorize Madison on top of that? Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with the ultimatum Madison supposedly gives him. She communicates like an adult to the man she's dating that she will have to remove herself from this situation if he has sex with or has had sex with other women after she's been clear of where she stands on the subject. I think that's valid. I think that's mature. And, quite frankly, I think that's the normal and healthy.

If Tayshia doesn't want to do it, my preference would be they take a break from picking the next lead from the previous season and just cast a newbie. The first time I thought of Taysia being the bachelorette and I thought about her carrying the season was when Colton came to her hometown and she organised the bungee jumping trip and I just thought that wow she can really be able to carry a season as a lead and she is incredible and I really wanted her to be back the Bachelorette. I was thrilled that Hannah was the Bachelorette. If Taysia can be and I would be so happy because then both Hannah and Taysia who I really loved in Colton seasons would be the Bachelorettes.

He may not have a saviour complex so much as he's not accustomed to tears being used as a manipulative tool (or manipulation from women in general). If he came from an environment where emotional expression from women was encouraged and regarded as authentic---as the memorable appearances from his mother would strongly suggest he did lol---he wouldn't necessarily have the psychological or social coding to recognize the difference between manipulative shows of emotion vs. authentic emotion. He probably thinks a crying woman is *more* likely to be having an authentic emotional experience than a stoic or shy woman, which also maybe explains why he was nervous and anxious with Kelly, Hannah Anne, and even Madison at certain points. Women that play their cards close to their chests clearly make him nervous: that's not his comfort zone.

It's a metaphor from like the 1700s about flintlock muskets. You put gunpowder in the firearm's "pan" and when you fire pull the trigger, the flint strikes the powder in the pan. It sparks and should shoot the ball. But if it's only a "flash in the pan" it failed to shoot. So not only is the spark of "a flash in the pan" over quickly, it also failed to deliver. It's quick and worthless.

The difference in Madison and Luke P is that Madison is simply just telling him BEFORE fantasy suites how she feels about sex before marriage.. she isn't casting judgement on Peter, just telling him how it is for HER and what SHE WANTS in a relationship. I think he kept Victoria because he didn’t want to keep Kelsey. Because Kelsey is so genuine and she said she was falling for him, so it would’ve been legitimately unfair to keep Kelsey and take her to fantasy suites when he knew she was genuinely falling for him and he knew he couldn’t reciprocate. Truly I would’ve rather he sent Kelsey home than Victoria so he doesn’t hurt Kelsey. However, after the conversations with Victoria in this episode, I wish he could’ve just given two roses (hannah ann and madison) but i’m sure production did not want that and had him keep Victoria for drama.

I agree Victoria is unstable but I also wonder if she is stuck in some trauma--like her Dad's passing. If she equates real love with pain, leaving or dying, subconsciously, she would blow things up being stuck in that loop. Unavailable men are "safe" in some ways so not to get too involved. I've seen a bunch of people date the "same" person with just a different name when they are stuck in some unconscious loop. There's a reason and I hope she gets to clear the energy of all. It can last for decades without resolving that subconscious replay. Peter's got something like that going too.

Victoria never answers Peter's questions or comments - red flag city! She is soooooo manipulative. She says to Peter "The ball is in your court," but what a bunch of BS since the ball is actually in HER court because she hasn't answered Peter's question. Yes, she is incredibly gorgeous but she is a total nightmare train wreck about to leave the station.

I agree and there really hasn't been anything FUN to watch. I don't feel any real feelings between any of them. No sincere playfulness, no "I just can't stop smiling" feelings, no real fire that you can sense from any of them...it's just so bland in that department. I agree...a real letdown.

I think I’m an outlier because I am not actually much for Tayshia for Bachelorette because of how we got to see her in paradise. I think she’s awesome, but it seemed she didn’t know what she wanted when it came to Derek and JPJ and I think that situation got out of hand because she had a hard time deciding. Then she broke up with JPJ and then got back together and then broke up again. I don’t think that means she’s immature but I think it says a lot about how she’s still exploring her options and might not be in the settling down stage yet. I’d be worried about the guys totally hanging up on her and causing big drama that she wouldn’t know how to deal with, like the blowout at the wedding in paradise between her two guys. I really want to see a lead stand their ground against the drama. It’s been too many leads that have been totally blindsided and manipulated by the drama queens. I miss the old days when the drama makers got sent home by the leads (for the most part).
