I want Gary Trent to start next to Cade. Bring Ivey off the bench and let him run the 2nd unit with Holland. Ivey and Holland running the fast break would be nasty.

Luke Kennard I felt didn’t get a fair chance in Detroit because he was a great shooter and people was complaining about his defense. It was pre mature to give up on him so fast. He could of been a starter, a 6th man or a bench rotation. But he’s a pure shooter with w high percentage.
@brucebedrock42743 ай бұрын
People were complaining because SVG took him in the draft instead of Donovan Mitchell 😔
@michaelahurt3 ай бұрын
You can sign shooters who can stay on the court defensively If you can get Gary Trent Jr for the mid-level just do it. He’s not a great on ball defender but you drafted Ausar and Holland. Trent is a knockdown shooter and disruptive off ball defender

I wouldn't mind seeing Luke back. Pistons need snipers!

i’m glad you said that about Bey. i was totally bummed when we signed bogie. he stomped on beys minutes and development.. then we traded him away. hopefully he bounces back from injury kicks butt wherever he goes.

I like the idea of getting Bey. I did spend money on his jersey in his second year so there's that. Also like Tillman and Kennard. Yeah with Tek we just have to wait to sign him after we use our cap. He will stay no matter what

I would love to see Tyus Jones come to be a steady hand at the point to spell Cade. Lots of good options for another shooter (Kennard, Beasley, Trent Jr).

Luke has good numbers, but he stays hurt. He has to be at the lowest possible salary we can offer him IMO.

Would love to get XTS. Now that he's got his chip, he may want to come back to MI. He was my favorite player at Michigan State when he played for us. GT would be pretty sick too.

Tyus Jones would be a great addition

Just discovered you! Love your content! Players I would like for you to include and do an analysis of in Part 2: Luka Samanic, Kyle Anderson, James Wiseman-again, Alec Burks-again, Moritz Wagner, Markelle Fultz, and Oscar Tshiebwe. The one player I do want is Jordan Usher who was Sarr's teammate at Perth. He is a dawg on defense and hustles. Check him out. Also UNC's Armando Bacot as well. Usher, Bacot, Samanic, Wagner, and Tyus Jones for me.
@JacobPistons3 ай бұрын
Thank you my man. Appreciate the support! Yeah, I definitely should have included Fultz. He would be a really good option for backup PG. I know a lot of us fans are content with Sasser holding down that role but I see him as more of a combo guard rather than a true backup PG. A few of those guys like Bacoat from UNC would be super cool to get a shot with the summer league team.

Gary Harris resigned with the Magic and Ivey is the starting SG.

First resign Simone Fonteccio, then sign Trent Jr, and trade Beef Stew to some team for a couple of 2nd round picks, then engage in talks regarding acquiring Mitchell Robinson's contract from the Knicks if they throw in a couple of 2nd round picks along with him.

Yes! 1st Simone! He’s top priority.

Time to build a real team. We got to many young players, that need to play. So get off these young players that are not working out? Because me as a fan watching them lose. It’s been 5 yrs of losing, we are becoming a place no free agents want to go.
@michaelahurt3 ай бұрын
We were never a place FA wanted to go You don’t get off the young players now. The first 2 years are worst years. That’s like getting up halfway through a root canal And honestly best case scenario is Ivey and Duren are relatively late bloomers so you get them on bargain contracts like Avdija, Coby White or Steph 10 years ago. Nothing better for team building than a $30-40m player making $18m

Luke Kennard wouldn’t work here. Our new coach demands defense, which is something Kennard is terrible at so it wouldn’t work
@JacobPistons3 ай бұрын
That’s a good point I didn’t think about until you mentioned it. Starting thinking back to the last year Cavs team and the only real meh defenders that got burn was Sam Merrill and maybe Garland, but Garland is in a completely different class than Merrill and Kennard.

If Holland is the G-League it wouldn’t be the worst thing I’ve always been higher on Hardaway than most but I don’t think he should be _the_ answer at SG. More of a 9th man

Great video, butK Kennard best pure shooter after Curry, please leave that strain alone its confusing you.

Just out of curiosity who would you consider better than Luke? The dude lead the NBA in 3PT% in 2022 and 2023. Every year since leaving Detroit he has been over 44% from 3 which is crazy. 3rd highest 3PT percentage in NBA history only behind Steve Kerr and Hubert Davis, who both played in an era where they were only taking a couple per game, and both had their primes intersect with the 3 years during the 90s they moved the 3pt line in. I know there is a lot more to base this one besides parentage like volume and difficulty of attempts but would be curious to know who you think is better.

I would have rather kept Jerami Grant instead of trading him for peanuts and signing trash ass Tobias Harris. If we kept him until this offseason we could’ve even traded him for Lakers #17 pick.
@Mark-oy1wv3 ай бұрын
Man Jerami Grant is nothing but a ball hog. When he was on the Pistons, every time he got the ball he rarely passed it. He was solid but no thanks on Grant😖

You’re lucky these players even consider Detroit. Weaver ran the Pistons in the ground, did he really think the shit players he put out there were going to win games?
