Late Sep and early Oct are rainy season in Thailand, tend to have more rains. But the good thing is normally there are less tourists and hotels are much cheaper

Are any hotels accessible for people with walking difficulties (use a mobility scooter)? What about where the bars restaurants are?

Hi there could be stairs in hotels, but you can definitely ask the staff to help. But outside hotels the streets I find not very scooter friendly - broken road, constructions, vehicles parking by the road etc. quite a lot bars and restaurants around Bo put/chaweng beach area. Fisherman village side got some bars/ restaurants along the beach too

I never stay in Sarann, but seems to be a very decent hotel. June is quite ok, not so much rains. it is so called the hot month, the temperature slightly higher then earlier and later part of the year.

Kho Phangan est victime de son succès. Les ferry sont pleins, les hôtels pleins, les routes sont pleines de scooters, les plages sont difficilement accessibles parce que les resorts se succèdent le long de la côte. L’argent coule à flot et les thaïlandais s’achètent des pickup de plus en plus gros et rutilants. Tant mieux pour eux. C’est la première fois, depuis un an que je voyage en Thaïlande, que je ressens un risque pour mon passeport, c’est louche à certains endroits. La police a mis des pancartes pour signaler des spots à risque.

désolé d'entendre votre mauvaise expérience à Koh phangan. un de mes amis y vivait en tant que nomade numérique. il mentionne également que les choses deviennent de plus en plus chères. Koh phangan est célèbre pour la fête de la pleine lune, donc naturellement l'endroit attire les fêtards. Vous pouvez visiter Krabi, pas trop loin de Phuket, mais beaucoup moins touristique.

Now the price spikes up due to peak season. 😳Hotel in Samui are normally most expensive from Dec to Feb period. When we featured the hotel the price was around 60-70usd/night
