★DOUBT- Sir in this chapter principles of man,man. is referred as universally applicable but in 1st chapter in Topic man. as science third point,principles of Man is referred as not universally applicable.Why both are contradicting each other?

In first chapter, Scientific principles are universally applicable means that in whatever situation or in any place/ country, principles will remain the same, you cannot change them. Whereas principal of management can be changed according to situation and place. Therefore principles of management are not exactly like the principles of science (rigid). In this chapter, Principles of management are universal as one can take them as a base for decision making (they are guidelines). It can be modified accordingly. There is paragraph about this in the book NCERT page no-32. Under the topic- Principles of Management: The Concept

Nature of principles of management:- Universal application- it means management is required every Where, It is required by each and every form of organisation whether it is private or public.. General guidelines- it provides us with general guidelines to help in the better functioning of the organisation.. Flexible - management is flexible in nature, It is not Rigid and can be changed by change in environment... Based on practice and experiment-not given randomly ,where as it is first tested out and then it is setup.. Contingent- it depends on the situation and environment Studies mainly human behaviour- Management is the study of human itself.. And blah blah blahh..
