It's weird .. I'm sure these guys are good. But the camera editing is whack. It's not even the camera guys fault.. they have like 3 or 4 cameras on these guys. But whoever edited it just chose the shots that show as little of the dancing as possible. Just weird face shots and strange angles. A big move will happen, and they will show the crowd reaction, but not the move. This doesn't happen just by accident. It's not like it's a live broadcast or something. They *chose* to not show the dancing in the editing room. Very strange. (**EDIT** .. ok .. 2nd half is better)
@mistahpink994010 жыл бұрын
But It is still awesome
@SuneelMohanSG10 жыл бұрын
Thought of saying exactly the same. The editor might be on crack while doing this whacky job.
@KKSmith10 жыл бұрын
Suneel Mohan SG I thought maybe there was something "wrong" in the first performance. Like maybe one of the guys had a big boner, or for some reason they just *couldn't* show a nice wide frontal shot. Or maybe the dancing was weak in the first performance for some reason, so they tried to edit it to look better than it was .. throwing in crowd reactions that might not have even been from that part of the show. I don't know. but there was definitely something weird going on in that first one.

Completely agree. The dancers looked grest but we missed half of it with the shit editing.
@TerrapinCreations666 Жыл бұрын
Agreed. I wish they would just plop the camera on a tripod and get the whole scene in the frame.

This is a great performance from Nick Nitro and Jeppe Long. It has a story, choreography, costumes, music and well rehearsed moves. They put it all together in a condensed form of dance art, which constantly crosses boundaries between pantomime, arthouse theatre and modern dance. Thank you. Yeah... almost forgot, somebody shoot the cameraman. Thank you.

SIR THIS IS LIVE.. fuck it just randomly press a button every 5 seconds it will look good!

I thought these guys showed extreme performance activity in their routine. It's quite obvious that some ppl here can't see great art form when it's presented, however the strength that these guys possess is wicked down right best choreography I've seen in some american form. I really couldn't understand their language but their performance spoke for itself great job guys!

Is it really bad camera work? There are multiple camera following different subjects: performers, audience, judges, backstage. It's actually the program's directorial team who ultimately makes the choice about what to switch to and when. Whilst the switching away from the performers is super frustrating, to be fair, the program is primarily a competition so shots to the judges are not unreasonable as their reactions determine what happens to the performer after their act. Still, it's a big shame that so much of the dancing was missed while reaction shots add to this frustration as they emphasise that there are amazing moves happening that we are not seeing.
@rasmuss.jrgensen316110 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed its bad camera Work. It's Danish television wtf did you expect? Danish televesion is fucking shit! I would know! Im from Denmark!
@craigmartin382710 жыл бұрын
Rasmus S. Jørgensen Why does Denmark have the monopoly on bad television? I've done a lot of traveling and I can tell you, TV is pretty much the same the world over. As Bruce Springsteen once put it: 57 Channels and Nothing's On. I'm from Australia and I encourage you to take a look at a few episodes of Australia's Got Talent and you'll quickly see that it is pretty much identical in style. The exceptions are the US and UK versions of the show, but even in these, much of the performances are lost switching to reaction shots from the judges, audiences, family members, and the host(s) watching in the wings,

This was their audition, which they almost didn't make it to. I'm not sure what country, but this video is several years old. They have since become quite famous. The little guy has gained quite a bit of weight and has a full beard, but he is still very good, not as good as the taller one. But The best robot dancer imo in the world is Poppin' John. He, too, is quite famous. And there is even a routine with these guys and John, you should watch it, it truly is incredible!!!
@DavidWallner19869 жыл бұрын
the editing is horrible, you cannot watch them dance accurately. I don´t want to see the audience and the judges evvery 1,5 second
@pierredupondt162410 жыл бұрын
Special effects with camera, with background. It seems they are not very talented. And why the fuck are they changing the camera and showing the public or the judges, so like that we cannot see 10 seconds with no effect. That is not really good.

And does it make it good ? No ! lol

@WHEREISTHEREASON10 жыл бұрын
Pierre Dupondt Pierre, I agree with you. The best way to appreciate the abilities of the dancers is to put the dancers in the frame of the camera and leave it there. Let us watch the show not the audience. I speculate the reason for the camera work is to; a. justify the job of the editors. b. to cater to the ever diminishing attention span of the public ( note, no camera angle is maintained for more than a couple of seconds.). It appears to me that many younger people lack the patience to appreciate anything which does not offer immediate gratification.
