@ here’s some help 1. aurora rod is really good for money making but it’s definitely not better than the trident rod 2. abyssal is not good for aurora rod. people use abyssal on rod of the depths due to it lacking any kind of fish effects (for example aurora rod has aurora enchant on fishes) so use an enchant like divine or hasty

If you want to progress REALLY fast this is what I would do Starter rod (flimsy) Carbon next Steady next Arctic rod (is insane paired with hasty allowing a early insta catch rod with great kg and bar (also resilience) After is optional honestly trident with hasty (if u got arctic rod with hasty no point of it just keep it until you get rod of depths (Once again) 1.starter rod (flimsy) 2. Carbon rod 3 steady rod 4. Arctic rod (with hasty) 5. Trident (optional) (with hasty) 6. Rod of the depths (abysmal for money, clever for exp and wormhole for bestiary)

There are 4 fragments hidden in Ancient Isle. These fragments only have 1 use: opening the door to the Ancient Archives. To do so, you need to get 4 players in total, and all 4 fragments. If you have those two requirements, go into the secret cave in the waterfall, go down the rope and go to each pillar and insert its respective fragment (by colour). After all 4 fragments were inserted, you must wait for a solar eclipse. When a solar eclipse happens, have each player stand on a pressure plate next to a pillar, and have them rotate the pillar so the fragment on each pillar is staring at each player. Doing so will open the door. Here's a list on how to get all 4 fragments: Ancient Fragment (purple) - can be fished up anywhere in Ancient Isle. Earth fragment (green) - located inside of a secret cave on the back of Ancient Isle. That cave is hidden by leaves and the entrance is big, and it contains the phoenix rod as well as eclipse totems alongside the earth fragment. Deep Sea Fragment - located at the very bottom of the waterfall. Just swim down the waterfall and you should be able to see it between two rocks. Solar Fragment - located at the very top of Ancient Isle, but it only spawns during solar eclipses. Wait until one happens and then take it. It is on the tip of the hill next to the pond with the Leechinchthys (don't remember the name) abundance. Good luck.

It's a extremely low chance of getting sunken rod, I'm level 130+ and never got the sunken rod at all (I'm using rotd now), sunken is good ONLY if you managed to get it early-game cuz when you unlock the trident, you won't need the sunken rod

My guide is: Training rod till you get 2k Carbon rod till you get 7k Steady rod till you get 90k Aurora rod is very good for money Kings rod as a side rod to get mosasaurus Grind till you get 200k (55k to buy 5 relics and then grind till you complete desolate deep bestiary) Buy trident as a primary and secondary rod Still use aurora rod for when there is aurora to get money money till you have 750k and abyssal relic and hexed relic and then buy the rod of the depths And finally the final rod is the no life rod when you get to level 500

How is rod of the forgotten fang better than rod of the depths? It has worse stats other than resilience, max weight, and control, and its ability is worse requiring 5 PERFECT catches which just gives you another fish that’s 15-20% bigger. The biggest fish can be caught with ROTD anyway and its ability auto-catches a fish with three catches that don’t need to be perfect. Edit: I forgot to account for the fact that megalodon’s weight was adjusted and it is now 50,000 instead of 5,000. Nonetheless, ROTD is still better as that is literally only one scenario vs every other one.

it is not better than rod of the depths, but it can be comparable when thinking of its passive, you probably forgot the passive doesn't just add more weight to the fish, but it also gets you a higher-rarity fish, give it resilient enchant to make perfect catches easy and it'll act almost like rod of the depths (unless you want more money, go for abyssal enchant as it affects the Meg giving you the fish)

@ TL;DR (cuz this is a yap session) ROTD has a better ability because ROTFF requires more catches, requires perfect catches, and only has the 15-20% size boost to the average size of fish rather than the actual fish. Also abyssal affects ROTD ability too Also resilient sacrifices insta catch from hasty for an extra fish that is worse than your last if it was over 20% larger than average. It's easy to catch with both rods so resilience stats dont matter ROTFF is only better in meg catches but its outclassed by no-life rod. It doesn’t give a higher rarity fish. It gives the exact same one and sometimes it has less weight as it only takes the average weight of the fish you caught and adds the 15-20% more weight (or so I’ve heard) which eliminates the possibility of a big/giant fish from it’s ability. Yes, resilient may help with perfect catching but that doesn’t change the fact that it takes 5 catches + it can’t insta catch because you’re not using hasty when compared to ROTD being able to insta catch with hasty and only requiring 3 catches for a fish that has the possibility to be a lot better than your last. And yes, it is true abyssal enchant effects the passive, it affects ROTD’s passive. You also can’t miss a catch with either unless you have a massive skill issue or are macroing, so ROTFF having better resilient stats is negligible. The two rods aren’t comparable and ROTD is undisputedly better than ROTFF except when you want megs. Even then, No-Life Rod, something you can get before ROTFF is better in that scenario.

sorry to ask you, but are you serious, i know if you're level 5-10 but at then you have to know all these stuff, but let me guide you: go to statue of sovereignty and enter the cave and ask the guy for 400$€ that he gives you a token so you can go to the cave, go at night so you can enchant your rod there, you can only enchant at night and you have to hold your enchantment relic and stand at the altar so you can enchant, don't enchant on useless rods, also check the wiki so you can see every enchantment and no, mutated relics don't give you stats (what we're you thinking?)

@@pokeguides4206 that isn't the entire explanation and very bad written, if you see a whirlpool that has steam coming out you can jump in and you will get tp'ed to vertigo, here you need to get the bestiary and you also need isonade which you can catch by catching in the whirlpool that HAS steam coming out, just fish in vertigo and place crab cages to get the vertigo bestiary and for isonade like i said fish at the whirlpool (you must have a rod thats 1000+ kg's) or you can just glich in it but when you did all of that and got the key just talk to the ghost guy near the gate and he will ask you if you want to open the gate and when you open you will need to do an obby be quick since the rocks fall but the ladder rock will not fall, once you made it you need to go close to the statue and you need to have 2 relics: the abbysal enchantment relic and the hexed one, you can get both from appraising when there's a shiny surge, you need to place both at a specific spot, the abbysal i think at the statue and then you gotta find the place for the hexed one, just watch a video to see once you do both of these things and placed them, a gate will open, and there will be water, don't go into it and die cause then you'll need to get the 2 relics again what you need is: advanced diving gear, and super flippers so where do you get that? you get them at the desolate deep, it's behind the statue of sovereignty and buy the advanced diving gear and then go down and go the left path and watch out for the sea mines, once you make it to the shop you'll need to buy the super flippers for 30k AND the advanced diving gear at the top for 15k once you did this check a youtube video to where you need to swim when you swim at the water of the ancient isles once you make it the rod is not free, it costs a WHOOPING 750k so grind at the depths and then you had it i don't have the rod but that's the guide. if you don't know anything of what i said i'll explain myself and edit this comment. For now hope you grind well one more thing, youj HAVE TO open the door for you to ACTUALLY buy the rod so watch out for that!
