Im not a fan of bigger watches. I love stacking my diamond bracelets on top of my watch. So i have a 26 mm presidential date just with a 2.8 carat bezel, i only bring it out on certain occasions. I couldnt find a used 28mm they are rare and they would be an arm and a leg verses my 26. A used 31 presidential starts at 14k no diamond bezel

The “big watches” for women started with girls “borrowing” their boyfriend’s Rolex (common in the 1980’s) …I love very feminine looks, and I don’t think it looks very feminine. Some people can pull it off, but I still think in the back of my head when I see this “Hmm, is she wearing her boyfriend’s watch?”. I love my 26mm Rolex Datejust, but I really really love my Cartier tank francaises, both medium and small. The older Tank Francaise bands just really intrigue me. Still love the Rolex too. I think the largest I would go on a Rolex is 31mm, but would prefer 28 or 26 for me (my wrist is not particularly slender either)

The SA at the AD told me it would be 8 months to a year, so patiently waiting. I really wanted a date just with the green face, but it only comes in 36mm. I tried it on but I found the 36mm to be too small. I am used to wearing large face watches.

Actually the trend seems to go to bigger watch sizes for women. Most important is how you think it looks on you. Also know that you can have the wristband adjusted, so its not like that watch would hang dangling around on a feminine wrist.

Thanks guys! I did try it on, and the 36 face takes up almost my whole wrist so you see not much bracelet but I LOVE it! Everyone says it looks to big on me, but I just love the look - worried it will look dated or tacky in future though?

Well the so called female models tend to increase in value a bit less than the bigger male oriented models. The market to resell these is just smaller. However diamonds are looking to increase in value. There is also Rolex itself increasing the prices of the models over time. So this model will likely hold its value. But if you are looking for something pure for the investment value, there are more interesting models. I have another video with tips on that.
