do yourself a favor and get black gorilla tape at the Depot. Wrap it around the connection points otherwise youll have rust leaking down onto the car. Dont ask how I know :)

Hi. Thank you for the video. The cross bars weight limit is 150 lbs. This rack weighs 25lbs. Does that mean I can only put 125 lbs of weight on it? Just trying to figure out if adding this rack impacts the overall weight limit for the cross bars.

It does in a way but if you can distribute the weight around the bars/basket you should be able to add a little more weight then it says.
