What a wonderful teacher! His simplified explanation and demonstrations of various moves and techniques are so easy to follow.I’ve watched many tube golf videos which only show you half the picture but here we see some genuine secrets being shared, aimed at improving your game. I’ve adopted his swing techniques, (11 handicap)and my ball striking and consistency have vastly improved. Thank you🙏

I love your drills. I have been doing them , my swing is getting better every time. I have been working with all the clubs including woods. In the past I could not hit a 3 iron but now I can. The golf drill exercises I am doing making it happen because my body is being trained to what I want it to do based on the exercises

I really like this drill but I think it can be improved. I started doing exactly the same as you, except that I externally rotated my trail arm so that the trail elbow is facing downward. This helps ingrain the proper set up position of the trail arm (shown in one of your previous videos) and feels like a more proper position of the trail arm throughout the backswing as well as providing all of the rotation benefits of your current video.

Excellent Dan, great addition to a good drill. Cheers

Good idea. I will also incorporate this into the drill. Thanks Dan

Good exercise but I think adding information about our obliques are essential in our turning and tilting in our golf swing. Cheers

Hello great golf coach, have you released a video on how to use a driver to include various technical movements? I have put a search on KZbin with no luck. Thank you for Sharing with us, your vast experience.

I Troy on the downswing do you slide your hips before you straight en your left leg thanks dave👍
@Hittingitsolid4 жыл бұрын
Hey Dave, I don't slide them intentionally, but they will move laterally slightly towards the target as you're posting up onto that lead side. I would never deliberately slide laterally too much because it can stall your rotation and cause the upper body to tilt back too much. Cheers

This is a fantastic video and along with your shoulder tilt video have cleared up some major issues with my swing. The comment about the symmetrical movement of the back and through swing was a light bulb moment as I have often seen them as 2 separate and different movements. I just used this with my sand iron and have never hit it lower or as solid. With the hip back feel on the through swing the shaft lean seems to happen naturally without being forced and very easy to do. I have tried this move before but without the tilt which didn't work. Where do you do your face to face coaching?

Thank you, really appreciate it. I'm based in Australia, but mostly do online lessons at this stage, but could change. Cheers

On the backswing I feel my tail bone moves towards the target....almost feel a bit stacked on the left side. Is that correct? Thank you for your videos.
@Hittingitsolid4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment, your tail bone will move a bit towards the target. You don't want too much too soon stacked on the left side in the backswing. Unless of course you're following the stack and tilt method. This obviously works for some but not for others. I like to feel some pressure in the trail side before shifting it to the front side. Cheers

Well explained Troy, don't rotate lower body, straight line forces, don't understand why you haven't got lots more subscribers 🤔

Thanks Michael, appreciate it. It's a work in progress and I'm still fairly new here to the KZbin area compared to a lot of the other creators on here. Cheers

The exercise is good however the golf swing is tilting and turning at the exact same time. It can only be done with the crunching of our corresponding obliques muscles that connects our upper body to our lower body. Cheers

It does work for the senior golfer, just a few adjustments needed to increase the turn if you don't have the flexibility. Cheers
@thomasfraser90724 жыл бұрын
Sorry but there is no way the front foot should move back as much as you showed at the beginning and on your last drill holding the shaft in your hands. You could not even finish the turning of your body as well as you did with the previous drills holding the shaft in your hands and simply using all the structural muscles throughout your body to rotate back and forth. Cheers
@Hittingitsolid4 жыл бұрын
Appreciate your comment Thomas, This drill has worked really well for me and many others I've shown. Cheers
@thomasfraser90724 жыл бұрын
Hitting It Solid Golf actually I love the drill as it is a non manipulation of our body parts when we do it. However if we were to deliberately to put our lead leg back as we swing forward we could potentially lock in our lead knee with an incomplete rotation of our body. Sorry I explained myself poorly the last time
