Been rucking a DG 16 for the last 6 months......put about 400 miles on it. I have a MK 7 I'm about to build up and am going to try this water system out.

I think I heard it mentioned but wanted to confirm; the DG16 Frame set is compatible with current US Army MOLLE rucks?

In my opinion this works well but it is no longer my preferred method of carrying the Qore IcePlates if I'm not wearing armor. With armor a pack just isnt going to be all that comfortable anyway and having the IcePlate as shown in this video works well. Without armor I prefer to have the IcePlate or IcePlates inside the pack as the DG16 frame and MK7 are at their max comfort level. I don't have the thermal regulation but I'm okay with that in most situations. on the MK7 I use the Molle rows on the inside at the top with shock cord ball bungees to secure one plate and depending on my packout I either put a second plate behind the first or put it sideways on top under the lid. If I have a large radio in the MK7 i can put the IcePlates on the sides of the inside and pack everything between them. I love that the IcePlate doesn't shrink like a bladder. After drinking all or most of a 2-3L bladder you're left with a loose pack that needs readjusting. I'd love to see a Qore plate designed specifically for Crossfire packs that has less curve to more perfectly fit in that frame space. It's close now and most would probably call it great. I'm just super picky.
