Just got a Path Projects T ( the Non-Elite collab with Kofuzi) and it’s excellent. I can see buying more of them. Also very happy with the Mizuno t’s that the Atlanta Track Club use for the club gear, they are a blend but have a very soft cotton feel and are perfect for cooler runs and also casual wear. A suggestion for a future vlog or series, trail running how to, such as steep descent techniques to maintain control but also avoid too much impact on the knees.

QD. I did a Strava challenge a few years back where if you ran a certain mileage. One week was for a shirt I believe and the two week challenge was also for shorts. Still have them, and I agree that they are expensive but sure good quality. Still my favourite go to shirt and shorts, especially when free from Strava and they don’t stink 🦨 even after consecutive days wearing. Just saying! Also received a shirt from completing the Manitoba Half Marathon and its a pretty sweet shirt too. It looks like the brand is Maderna but have never heard of it. Nice and soft and light and is comfortable to run in.

To be honest, almost all of my t shirts that I run in are from thrift stores. So much more affordable and can usually find brands like UA, Nike, and Salomon. Most of my money goes towards my shoes or one great pair of tights. Maybe I'll keep my eye on the comments for one I should splurge on 😁

QOD: My favorite shirt is a mid 1990's Nike Dry Fit long sleeve. I got it late in college and wore it all the time doing trail runs and hikes after moving to the Bay Area, CA. I retired it from every day use to save it but still break it out for special occasions. The last time was in 2017 when I hiked Mt. Katahdin in Maine the day after scattering my Dad's ashes. I have a trail half marathon Sunday and thanks to this vlog it's gonna come out of the drawer!

My favorite T-shirt is a technical one with great fit and fun graphics. It was from a mountain race that I ran a couple of years ago and sign up for every year since because it is my absolute favorite. Last year the race was canceled and so they made the executive decision not to throw the thousands of shirts away but rather to make a joke out of it with a little asterisk with 2021 correcting the initial date. I thought that was so bold and great, making it even cooler :-)

Seth, my wife and I are huge Toronto Maple Leaf fans and loved the documentary. It was difficult to watch, not only for what happened to the team (ugh) but it did a great job of capturing Toronto’s lockdown measures at the time and how gruelling that was for us. We’re also both runners and found your vlog after your Toledo half marathon race.. we were addicted ever since and watched as many past episodes as possible. Seeing that races were happening again and getting immersed in your running knowledge and experience helped us get through that last, difficult leg of our last lockdown. I just ran Boston over the weekend and couldn’t have gotten to the start line if it wasn’t for inspiring people like yourself who give so much to those who might be struggling. Thank you thank you thank you! And go Leafs go!

Soar sierra half zip - the fit is amazing, it is so light it defies physics, yet it has 2 zipped pockets at the rear to carry gels and the fit combined with some very clever structuring of the fabric means it doesn’t bounce with 4 gel’s stowed. It is my most expensive piece of running clothing but the quality shines through.

QOD: rabbit, specifically the EZ material, is my favorite by far. It's never done me wrong! Very soft, comfortable, and breathable. It's probably not the best at moisture-wicking but like you said, not much of a concern here in Colorado. Some of their other fabrics are better at wicking. Also, I know you didn't ask but I'm going to say it anyway, their shorts are THE BEST that I've ever worn.

QD: I never bought a shirt. I have tons of shirts from all the races I did over the years. There are some favourites mostly because of memories of the race or design, some work a bit better during the hot summer months. But they're all comfortable. I'm not that picky with my shirts.

QD: I have always loved running in a simple T-shirt. It has been my go to since high school and just seems to work anytime the temp is below ~60. During the summer I typically just grab a tank top and go with it. Winter time calls for my favorite long sleeve lululemon swiftly tech shirt, although on the colder days I typically need something warmer.

QD: Rabbit EZ Perf. The EZ line is super soft, and the perf is very breathable, which I need here in the southeast (S Carolina). I have a SS and LS of that Inov8 shirt too (older model), and you’re right, it’s super lightweight. Another favorite.

Best running T shirt is a Mizuno T shirt. Best half tights is from a brand named Joma. Best sweater, a thin wool sweater from norwegian brand Janus. Best socks from the brand Sway. Best jacket a ultra thin windbreaker from norwegian brand Stormberg. Best shorts from danish brand Endurance. Best full tights is Nike Pro Compression tights. Best running Cap a Salomon Cap. Best runner boxer shorts from swedish Craft. Best running singlet from H&M. All of it very cheap gear, bought on sale.

QD It would have to be Patagonia Airchaser shirt. Firstly, being a big unit even in the mild Australian winters, I get bloody hot!! These things breathe so well, and don’t add weight when you are out sweating for hours on a mountain mission. The other fact in trying to be conscious in my purchasing, they’ve lasted many seasons, made from recycled materials, and traceable.

I always reach for Craft nanoweight short sleeve baselayers when it is hot. The shirt is very light and breathable. You can definitely see through it! For colour, I love my ASICS “orange pop” shirt that perfectly matches my Tokyo edition Novablasts!

I used to think Under Armor was sort of "for the gym bros" if you know what i mean. I picked up a nice looking UA singlet at Ross for under $15 4 years ago. Its been my favorite top to train in. And it still looks new! I've purchased numerous UA pieces since then and they're all my favorite. Some brands work better for each person and UA just works so well for me. If i could find that singlet in every color of the rainbow id have one for every day of the week.

It's really difficult for me to shake that view of Under Armour. I work part time at a running store, and most people that come in looking specifically for Under Armour seem to fall into this category of wannabe tough guy/self proclaimed badass. I don't ever see any UA advertisements or commercials or anything, my view of them is based entirely on who's buying that stuff.

QD: I used to work for lulu and yes - their fabrics will last a long time - I have gear for about a decade now that still works:) But it is a higher price point. I am currently using Brooks Distance Tees and for a real deal, the C9 Champion Soft Tech Tees are great:)

Not a fan of the Toronto Maple Leaf (Montreal lost their first game to Toronto), but I used to be a fan of the Nordiques de Québec until they moved to... Denver! Hopefully, we will have a new team soon (I'm from Québec CIty) and we will be able to enjoy the rivalry between Montreal and Québec City once again. QOD: I rarely buy running shirts. Usually the ones i receive at races are good enough for me. I also find that wearing races' shirts is motivating me.

My morning runs and workouts I'm in the under armour rush seamless. Great for any occasion. Comfortable, durable. Not as breathable as the breeze but great for the average runner on the go. It is $60 but I can normally find them on sale for a lot less from UA.

QD: North Face Better Than Naked short sleeve shirt($60 - I found a color on clearance at REI or something for much cheaper). Absolutely the lightest, thinnest, most breathable, best fitting active shirt I have. Wore it for my hot 50 miler in September with a vest over it. I have some Rabbit EZ tee that I really like too, but only for short runs or even just casual wear. Once they get wet they seem to hold onto water and get a bit heavy.

QD: Best t-shirt I ever had is a Sport HG tee that I got at the Rodnei Ultra Odiseea race. It's just incredible. It's some new Micro-Perforation tee it's just insane. Sport HG has some really quality compression clothing!

QD: I am not sure of the T-shirt type, it is the Rock N roll Montreal Half Marathon t-shirt of a couple of years ago. It is the only T-shirt I have that never gave any chaffing, and I did almost all my long runs/ultra in it. durable, comfortable and breathable. And it was part of the goodies of the race!
