this guy was amazing. I used to see him near my office in Manhattan. One day he would sell vegetable peelers, the next day it would be children's books. It was always the same reaction. he would draw a huge crowd and then people would just start buying. I saw a short news story about his life on CBS. He was actually quite well off financially, living in a beautiful place near Park Ave (and help paying for his children / grand children's college educations). He always worked for himself selling items on the street, for decades.

1. It's called the Qur'an, not the "Arabic bible" 2. Why 10 billion? The more than the population of the world. 3. *threaten 4. What would this achieve? Threatening to give them free copies of a book that they all already have?

@becomingdauntless88216 жыл бұрын
@reece ..I think the whole point is that it doesn't come down to whether the product you're selling is shit or not, but the way in which you're selling it and your goal is to just sell - if it sucks, well your loss, but the seller did his job by convincing you. The best salesman in the world can sell bags of fresh air to people in China when in truth, it could just be hoax but how would they know that? It comes down to how the seller draws people in and how he sells the product, that's the art of good salesmanship.
