Both actors for don maroni and falcone in this show made it worth watching in the beginning. Interesting to see the rivalries between the two as it isnt as fully portrayed in the films.

Indeed, that would have been great; first thing that came to my mind after Fish shot Maroni was "wait what about Dent?" Then I thought that it wouldn't be the first time Two-Face would be created by someone else... I mean, in the New52 Harvey is not disfigured by Maroni, but by Erin McKillen, so things can change. In "Batman:TAS" is was Rupert Thorne who was responsible. In the 1960s Adam West universe, he became disfigured after Hugo Strange's evil extracting machine went kaboom... And one thing Don Maroni's death showed us, is that in this show, just because a character is important in the usual Batman canon, it doesn't mean that they can't die/change. It's an "Elseworlds" story like *"Batman: Earth One"* , that doesn't result in the usual Nolanesque Bat... And it's fine by me! I was just sad that my man David Zayas got offed after 1 season; he was so good as Maroni, my favorite role of his after Enrique Morales from HBO's *Oz*

It's funny, both actors who play Maroni and Falcone are in the show Oz. In fact, in the show Oz, David Zayas (Maroni in Gotham) ends up killing John Doman (Falcone in Gotham) in one episode.

Yep, *Oz* is the show that made me fall in love with David Zayas, aka *Enrique Morales* ... he was great in that show as a Latino crime boss, and then in *Gotham* as an Italian crime boss... what's next? ^^ Something "funny" (not funny haha, more like funny strange) is how, out of hundreds of characters in *Oz* , Morales is the only one to have his own little musical cue/jingle (not sure how to say it in English, like his own theme song but much shorter?) Great actor, and he didn't age a day between those shows, in fact he almost look younger in *Gotham* (might be the lack of stash?)

If you pause it about 15:03 you can see the funny expression on maroni’s face and you can tell he both didn’t expect that and knew that he F’d up badly. Lol that face he made when he found himself face to face with the barrel of that gun man. RIP Maroni you will be missed

This right here was Gotham at it's best I still liked the other seasons but it got too comic book with a lot of ridiculous things,plot holes. Season 1 was a proper classic crime drama that had a Sorpanos vibe and they should've stuck too keeping it grounded. If they did this show could've been a masterpiece but it is what it is.
