Thank you for a nice overview of German scholarships aligned with some of the German political parties! It is wonderful that German society provides opportunities for talented students all over the world to study in Germany! Are there any scholarships in Germany that are not related to a specific political party?
@Alyonah7 ай бұрын
@matematoni I'm glad you found the overview helpful. Yes, there are scholarships in Germany that are not related to specific political parties. Two very well-known ones are the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarships and the Alexander von Humboldt scholarship (for postdocs). I recommend checking out this scholarship finder, which lists over 180 scholarships available: www2.daad.de/deutschland/stipendium/datenbank/en/21148-scholarship-database/

All the scholarship programme require B2 level German language requirement. Is there any other scholarship programme does not require German language requirement. Could you please help me in this matter as I am actively seeking for a scholarship?
@Alyonah7 ай бұрын
You can definitely apply for daad scholarship without speaking any German: www.daad.de/en/studying-in-germany/scholarships/information-for-scholarship-applicants/ As for the political foundations scholarships: while their websites state that they require B2 level of German, I know de facto that some students were accepted into the scholarship programm without speaking any German. They recieved a German language course in Germany before their Masters started and it was covered by the foundation. 😊 Let me know if you have furhter questions

Yes, so I have just doublecheked with a friend who has applied for KAS in English. They required German but he wrote them an email asking is it's possible to apply in English and they told him to apply anyways. I would definitely recommend giving it a try and at least emailing them wheather there is a chance that you apply in English but that you plan to learn German or are already in the process of learning it (?). If you apply for KAS at the German office, the deadline is 15.07 so you still have time. Otherwise, I also recommend checking out this scholarship finder. It has many smaller and less known scholarships so maybe you will find something interesting 💛 www2.daad.de/deutschland/stipendium/datenbank/en/21148-scholarship-database/

Hey How can i apply for aschoolarship in Germany for undergraduate 😢 I have tried but seem not to get
@Alyonah5 ай бұрын
Hey there, I was checking it recently but seems llike there are not many options available to undergrad students right now. Some foundations offer these scholarhsips sometimes, but at the moment I didn't find any open. There is an option of applying for Deutschlandsstipendium, but it is only going to be 300 euros per month. Also check out DAAD scholarships for your country and scholarships offered at your specific university of choice As you don't pay tuition for a German university (only a small semester fee), it is also possible to finance yourself with a part-time job. I am going to make avide about that as well.

Thank you for the advice! Which of these foundations would you say is most likely to fund a student from the middle east? I know that some scholarships are not open to Lebanese people for example.
@Alyonah4 ай бұрын
I had a KAS scholarship and many fellow-scholarship holders from Middle East, so I would definitely go with KAS and maybe another foundation as a back-up :)

@Alyonah6 ай бұрын
Hello! The GPA system is not the same everywhere, so I am no sure what does cgpa 9.28 mean? If 1.4 is your GPA according to the german system, then it's very good. 😉 Also the fact that you already have internships and a publication speaks to your advantage. You should definitely try to apply for a scholarship. Depending on what country you are from, you need to check whether your university in your home country is "recognized" in Germany.

@@Alyonah cgpa is my university criteria it's in india And my university is in H+ category Can you help me out how to apply this internship...? It's very need for bcz of my family financial situation.....
@Alyonah6 ай бұрын
Yes, I see. I had a similar situation so I just double checked and found this: H+ bedeutet, dass die betreffende Institution in ihrem Sitzland als Hochschule anerkannt ist und auch in Deutschland als Hochschulinstitution betrachtet wird. - which means that your home university is recognized in Germany and you are eligible to apply for masters in a German University (if you already have a bachelor or are in the process of obtaining your degree). Also here is also some information about the Konrad Adenauer Scholarship in India (It may be one of the options for you) www.kas.de/de/web/indien/stipendien-der-kas-indien It is very important to polish your application and eventuelly learn some German. You should have good chances considering your background.

Yes, most importantly the university is in Germany, and prefferably it has to be a state University as private ones might require additional tuition from your side.

I completed my intermediate in 2021 now I am doing Associate degree in Commerce after one year I have 14 years of education so what should I do now
@Alyonah6 ай бұрын
I am not quite sure how Associate Degrees work. If it is comparable to Bachelor, you can apply straight for the Masters Program. Otherwise you can do a bachelor, but since you already have a degree, you will likely be able to "recognize" some of your former credits so that you will graduate faster. 🙂

Sorry, but I didn't understand very well! But I can apply to a college/university in Germany after finishing 12th grade and still get financed right!?
@Alyonah6 ай бұрын
To study at a university in Germany one has to finish 12 or 13 years of school, so I would say yes, you should definitely try and apply :) However you will need to find a foundation that offers scholarship to undergrduate students, like for example www.fes.de/studienfoerderung/grundfoerderung-fuer-auslaender-innen But this foundation requires a good knowledge of the German language. You can also use this scholarships database to look for more opportunities: www2.daad.de/deutschland/stipendium/datenbank/en/21148-scholarship-database/
@VanusaJ6 ай бұрын
I thought it wasn't possible because I couldn't find videos that explained this, thank you very much for the video!
@Alyonah6 ай бұрын
@@VanusaJ I know that German universties require Ukrainians to have 11 years of school + 1 year of university in Ukraine to be able to get into the first semester of a bachelor program in Germany. So 12 years of school schould be fine in your case. As a next step I would contact some universties that you consider applying to and send them your transcript or simply explain the sitaution and ask whether you can be acceted into your program of your choice. Hope that helps :) Good luck!

Sure, also Did you have prior knowledge of German as konrad scholarship asked for B2 German level. Can i apply it even if I don't have any knowledge of it?
@Alyonah7 ай бұрын
I did have pior German knowledge but I was applying for a Masters in German Studies. I have met many people who also got the same scholarship and didn't speak German or spoke very little before starting their Masters. Obviously they were planing to do their Masters in English. Some of them were offered a German language course in Germany prior to their studies , and the foundaiton covered that as well. Learning some German is important because KAS offers networking events and seminars that are usually conducted in German. I would say, if you want to do your masters in English and are willing to learn German, you should definitely give it a try and apply. Much depends on how much funding they have, how many applications they recieve in total, etc. It also makes sense, to get in touch with the KAS office in your country or in Germany and to ask what the situation is right now. Here is the link for the German office: www.kas.de/en/web/begabtenfoerderung-und-kultur/auslaenderfoerderung

I am not an expert on agricultural engineering. Try googling some agricultural engineering programs and see which one you like best. That would be the college/university to go for :) It also depends on what city you would like to study in German. Northern Germany is usually more affordable than Southern Germany. So there are several factors to consider.
