Best seat in the house at Doncaster Railway Station

Multi-Storey car park special.
Whilst creating the 2000 subscriber special in Doncaster on the 1st August, Ryan and I saw a glorious Multi-Storey carpark over looking the station. Definitely the best seat in the house.
The 2000 subbie spesh will be released once we get there.

Did security come to you while you were up there? They always have when I have been up top always tell me im not allowed to take pictures / video from up there because the prison can be seen from there its absolutly ridiculous. Great video you have here enjoyed it. Might give it another go at some point I went up top of Lincoln car park yesterday the newer one near bus station can get a view of trains from there too but not as good as Doncaster.

Yes we was approached but me being full of enthusiasm explained what, why and how I was in Doncaster. He clinged on to what I was saying and exchanged so epic info of Doncaster with me. I had no idea which building the Mallard and Scotsman was built in until he mentioned it.He also mentioned that kids play on top of the car and are a nuisance to and I offered to get off the roof but he said he's not one to spoil someone's fun

My wife and I are having a short break in Manchester & Liverpool, from Newcastle at the end of October. Although I booked the homeward journey several weeks ago I struggled to get reasonably priced outward (Sunday) tickets. Finally, today I saw and managed to book a pretty good deal ..Newcastle to Doncaster, then onward to Manchester. There’ll be a wait of about an hour, between trains. Personally, I wouldn't mind just sitting at the station and watching trains, but my wife isn't that keen .. is there anything worthwhile to see near the station, or even a few shops nearby just to pass the time.

Hiya Brian come out of Donny station and side step to the left and you are at the main indoor shopping Centre. Lots of shops even a big food hall. That's about it though as I didn't really venture to far from the station. I have you both have a lovely journey

The journey from Doncaster to Manchester for the two of us (with a ailcard) was going to be £11.60, but was only £15 First Class which was too good to miss .. just hope my wife doesn't think i'll take her first class everywhere in the future
