Old students replacing broken doors and windows and painting outdated weak school blocks is very minimal of a contribution. In Ghana , old students embark on huge infrastructure developments for their shs school. Interms of quality education , Ghana is far ahead of Nigeria.

Please, I stayed in Nigeria as a Ghanaian and I can tell you that there are awesome and amazing SHS all over. Just continue your tour and you may agree to that. Another interesting thing that I found was how intelligent Nigerian students are. I studied with them so I can confirm that too. In general the government schools in Ghana have an edge in terms of infrastructure but there are equally sophisticated private schools different places. Finally, I felt the cultural dynamics and outlook between Nigeria and Ghana are close to some extent. They are our brothers and sisters. Just a little rivalry over jollof rice !!!😅

Why not set the bar up? We can't settle for mediocrity. This government is pushing on our throats. We can do better. Our market, Nigeria, is here. They will embark on massive educational tourism. We have to revamp the SHS courses to provide tailored skills to SHS graduates to become employable rather than focusing on educational certificates. You and I know 80% of those who run through SHS through to University have no usable skills. They have educational certificates without skills.

Oh! maybe u don't know, intelligence, logical thinking/ reasoning, analytical skills, pronunciation- diction, manner of speaking, elocution, intonation delivery, modulation, articulation, enunciation utterance etc. If you haven't been to someone's farm, don't think your farm is the biggest. Why have they left the environment so devastated. The problem is the government of Nigeria. I think they are not doing much with the high schools. But i still believe you will find so many better schools as you continue with the tour. Notwithstanding, the school has a large compound and that is a plus for me.
