Maybe not directly tied to gameplay, but the color settings in Accessibility are great. You can turn up the saturation on the entire game, making it feel a lot more colorful, vibrant, and imo appealing.

My main issue with MW3 is that there is STILL no option for Xbox and PC players to disable crossplay in the in-game settings. Playstation does have this option, yet the playerbase of Xbox and PC are big enough to handle it but we are neglected. We can only disable crossplay in the Xbox settings itself but that is a bad way because you will only play against people who did the same thing and not many people know about this. How hard can it be to give this option to everyone….

Easy reason behind this is that Xbox is also Windows, aka pc, so on Xbox, we have the ability to plug in a keyboard and mouse on like 75% of games, and it just works PlayStation wants to completely seperate itself from the pc player base Whilst Microsoft embraces it Edit: to answer the question, it’s pretty hard, because of the Microsoft store is also on pc, a purchase works both on pc and xbox for most games, this is one of them, considering the 69 million dollar acquisition that Microsoft just got

Where u can adjust ur thumbstick movement threshold, i set my left stick max movement, to 50%. Or even less. It just lets u strafe better, it gets u to full movement speed, with less stick input.

The most helpful thing to me on this video was changing my deadzone. Took just a bit to adjust too and I noticed a big difference. Can't believe I've been playing these cods without doing that. Definitely helps with those more precise adjustments when aiming.

Auto tac sprint makes a huge difference. A little tough to get used to at first, but your movement abilities increase greatly using it. Especially when doing quick lateral jumps

This is just straight up rubbish, I use it becasue i was starting to get hand pain from constantly spamming the stick to do quick jumps and slides but its objectively slower than a click. I find having slide cancels sprint to off feels way more fluid since you will automatically go back into sprinting at the end of a full slide rather then staying in crouch.

One critical setting that I found was destroying my aim for MW3 was the advanced setting under the horizontal and vertical aim assist settings, which was erroneously set to 1.4 for me, making my normal aim setting of 6 way too fast.

within the gameplay tab there is an option which allows for autofire semi auto guns by holding down the trigger. I tried that within the campaign and it looks like there is a certain cap to which this will actually work. Would be nice to no how many rpm this feature supports. it feels like it is arround 100

Dual sense edge controllers made tweaking the controller settings super confusing. I can fine tune everything from the ps5 settings then have to find a setting which works well within COD as well

Im new to controllers as a life long kbam player. I found starting controller settings as focusing aim assist with 4-4 sens and .85 ads multiplier to be a good way to get your thumbs muscle memory and reps. Slowly bump up sensitivities as you start winning every gun fight. Eventually you can change aim assist to default

I find it odd how in MW2 the "Headphones" or "Headphones Bass Boost" are the best overall (I tested it for tv speakers,5.1/7.1 Surround Sound speakers and JBL 7.1/ surround/3d earbuds) - Yes,super boring stats/truths But ironically enough,it's like the devs gave this years audio advantage to the default "TV Speakers",maybe to help more casual players or non-constant players I did the same boring tests,and found it strange how the "Studio,Headphone and War Tapes" Settings were actually lower than the normal TV Speakers. - Not a huge issue just found it funny that this time around the default has more audio clarity and definition while the rest have improved bass/less treble and more profound lows. (*I understand this sounds boring,if you're an average person,you'll be fine,the default is better overall with or without using Headphones,Speakers,Ear buds,the TV Speaker setting will give you the most accurate sound possible in terms of loudness and clarity

For those complaining about cross play, go into your Xbox settings, there is literally crossplay settings on / off in the Xbox’s setting

ADS field of view “affected” makes enemies and your crosshairs smaller when you zoom in. Yes, recoil “appears” less. But in reality it’s not. The benefit to being zoomed in at medium to Long range gunfight is a huge bonus for the “independent” setting

Although PlayStation users didn’t get to use gyro in MW2 in the campaign, they finally let us in MW3! I may just play the MW2 campaign to get a familiarity with the AA options (not that I ever plan on using it in multiplayer).

Quick tip also for people playing mainly Zombies Favorite a toggle on aim assist, it has the history to kill you when trying to quickly pass a horde, your aim just shugs on the 30 zombies and you can’t turn as quick I know it’ll probably feel wierd for a lot of people, but it’s an underrated thing to turn off in past games, and with the new bigger hordes we’ve seen, it’s sounds necessary more than ever

settings menus have become way too complicated for the sake of just shoving more and more things in the game. basic and simple structure will always be the best. there is no need to have ADS sensitivity multiplier and all these stuff. just vertical, horizontal sensitivity and that's it.

I have tactical setting for button layout. When I’m ADS and shooting, I easily go to prone without wanting to. I thought it was ok. It was kinda cool that some of the missions were in a DMZ like open area and you could approach it however you wanted (and you could find gear and armor vests and even self revives). However the ending was abrupt and if you're buying for just the campaign then it is way way too short and you def will feel ripped off if you don't take advantage of the multiplayer or what I'm looking forward to is the zombie/DMZ like hybrid mode.

The gyro controls (called "motion sensor aiming" here) should really be looked at further if you want to explore a new avenue of input style. This control method has already proven extremely powerful by players in the Counter Strike community on steam (using the Steam controller, now discontinued) and by the Splatoon community on Switch (there are sick flickshot compilations everywhere) This is pretty much the only input method available to controllers that allows them to go truly toe-to-toe with keyboard and mouse WITHOUT aim assist.

Small tip for people who want to use Tac Stance. You can switch the button to L3 while aiming down sights, makes it a lot more usable in fights. You can do melee button but if you use Bumper this wont work well
