Thanks! I want one of these tables for my sewing room which is just a jumble of boxes at the moment. I was concerned whether I could put it together myself and you have shown me it is not too scary! I may put castors on mine for ease of movement. Thanks for the advice to get the wood table rather than the white, I appreciate that. I will be ordering mine soon. I love how organised your room is.

You need to get a mallet or wrap the hammer in a towel. Ikea is not the best quality. Don't hammer directly it might damn the wood. I have the same table. I wish I had gotten the all wood because the white one is peeling.

Thanks for the rec, I think I’ll get the mallet for future diy projects. Yes I saw a review of the white one peeling so I decided to get the birch one.
