Low input lag, 96% color coverage, and short throw, means this price has stayed close to the same. You can get a 4K monitor for a similar price, but it will most likely be dimmer and lower quality.

Finally!!! I’ve been looking for short throw projectors, but can never find good reviews. This is lit, I just wish it had Bluetooth capability.... You should definitely do more short throw projector reviews!!!

Yo KC, those are not 2 PC connectors at least one of them is not for video, the top one is a VGA connector which is for video and the one on the bottom is a DB-9 connector (RS-232) which it is in fact a PC connector but for internal configurations usually on BenQ's side. Nice review brother! keep them coming and congratulations for getting BenQ on your reviews!

I looked at the side by side, and there is a very minimal difference in Colors between the two, also the Optoma has much better Blacks and Darbee, look at 3:26, and then go look at the Optoma and you'll see how much better the Blacks are, IMO its a win.

Beverly Huttinger I already bought this projector. Im very very happy with the purchase. I was not planning to spend more that £1000 on a projector and this one cost me 890. I dont have a propper setup, im shooting on a white wall and im happy with the result. Maybe if I had a more powerful computer I would opt for a 4k projector. Thnx for the input!

Beverly Huttinger how much are they going for? Which would you recommend? The issue is having the power to run games in 4k resolution. It is already challenging to find a 4k pc monitor with high refresh rates, let alone a projector. Maybe in a couple of years its more affordable to do so. 1080 p at 60 fps 17 ms on a 120 inch screen from 1.5 meters is a great deal hahah. I have not done research on 4k projectors. What are their capabilities?

This one can shoot up to 300 inches from a couple of meters further away but I dont have the space anyways.

I have not tried it, but the pixels are more noticeable from a shorter distance / bigger screen. You just have to sit far away from the screen and it should be ok.

Yeah. I was looking for the same answer. Gt1080darbee with darbee function on or ht2150st? Ht2150st is more expensive and no everywhere available. Gt1080 has higher lumens and contrast ratio but everyone focuses on rgb wheels or something. The darbee function is good isn't it

This was actually I very good response. I personally thought the optoma gt1080 was amazing and yes Darbee makes things very clear but BenQ has more vivid colors in my opinion. Either one you choose will be a great option. It is a win win

this has zoom and the darbee doesnt. i've been debating which one to get for black friday sales. without zoom (and if you are mounting it), you'll be stuck at a fixed width projection with the darbee which sucks balls, but the 3000 lumen and 16ms on the darbee rocks..... wish there was more competition (specially on the gaming side).

What if you buy an external Darbee unit? Would you get best of both or will it increase input lag??

I heard Darbee doubles the input lag for the GT1080. From sub 20ms to 33ms, which is about the same as every other "fast" projectors but not great for gaming especially if you've been a PC gamer for most of your life. However, the HT2150st performs the same regardless. This means if you want the least input lag for a great gaming experience, it is a comparison between the GT1080darbee without darbee vs the HT2150st. Right now, I'm giving the edge to BenQ. I'll be able to make a clear judgement soon as I'm having both in transit atm.

Sekushu well BenQ would perform the same regardless because it doesn't have the Darbee option. If it did, presumably it would also be slower based on what you said. But look forward to hearing what you say about them. :)
