FWIW, I (and others in comments) still like reviews on "older" palettes. I still watch old reviews of palettes I have in order to spark interest in them, rather than the newnewbuymore content. I know it doesn't get views though, but I think it's a really positive intentional choice. Also love palette rankings (or roundups like this)!!

if you like the quality of daness myricks, you NEED to check out cozzette eyeshadows. Roque Cozzette is a long time makeup artist and he created the line. He and Danessa are longtime friends, and their lines are designed to go together. They're not at sephora BUT the website ships everywhere. also, among makeup artists, his brushes are considered top tier. if you get any brush, get the S185. the smallest blending brush on the market, and will change your makeup game forever.Please check them out!

I wish beauty stores would allow you to swatch all pallets as testers so that we don’t have to be wasteful and buy a bunch of pallets we will hardly end up reaching for. Thanks for the video chels!

This isn’t an excuse. Look up swatches and videos of the palette before you buy. You don’t “have to be wasteful”, just put thought into what you buy

I love the Anastasia Rose Metals palette. I was unsure at first, but the mood I use it the more I love it. Way better than Nouveau.

The Danessa Myricks palette is my favorite from 2022. I audibly gasped when I swatched it for the first time. I rarely gasp when I swatch an eyeshadow palette, and that’s coming from someone who also owns Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona palettes.😂

Sometimes I think the bulky- ness of palettes is too much to carry and the color scheme limits the use. For an example, Patrick ta rose palette is gorgeous but I don’t wear clothing that would go with that scheme often. I think it’s alittle different for you because you buy so much and have so much options.

I'm in love with my LW4 palette! It's a great collection of multichromes! The PMG palettes last year just weren't my thing. I already have too many pink palettes. I love the pat palettes that I have, the subliminal is my absolute favorite. I passed on mothership 10 because of the reformulated astral shades. I really wish she would give us some astral quads in the baked formula. The my dream was a pass for the same reason, too much pink. I actually found myself gravitating more to indie brands in 2022 for some variety and found some treasures!

I love your thoughts especially on Pat McGrath. I felt the same way about her holiday mega, loved how it looked, but it’s just meh for me. I’m also contemplating if I should collect more because I realize I don’t reach for them that much as well.

Hi dear friend, love to see you here again, and that your throat feels better, and you look absolutely fabulous, your hair, your eyeshadow everything!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Loved to see this video, i love eyeshadows so much!!! The more bold eyeshadows i mostly cannot handle anymore on my mostly more sensitive eyes, so i decluttered as you know almost everything ND/PMG/SG only kept what was and is very special for me. But these type of eyeshadows and also for sure DM wow they look so beautiful on you!!!! From this year, the ND pastel palette i kept because it was quite new, and makes me happy! Not that i like the cool green tones on my more hazel/khaki eyes, but the periwinkle sort of soft lilac shades i used, no eye irratation, and this spring gonna try the yellow i think. But it's still a type of not-everyda-eyeshadow, and that's ok, Natasha is very creative! I fully understand you when talking about the PMG shadows, as you need to be challenged, you're such an artist besides your gorgeous beautiful deeper complexion and beautiful brown eyes, i also should put all colours and glitters etc on my eyes dear!!!! I understand you miss that in Pat's more recent collection, the special shades, like they were!!! For now, what did i love most from 2022? Also that Chanel quad you showed, of course! Further Wayne Goss Smokey Quartz palette, a part reminds quite a lot of the legendary TF Cocoa Mirage, it's so easy! Further CT cream shadow single in Sunlit (so easy but effect!), Chantecaille Giraffe eyeshadow quad, Tom Ford Velours Khaki eyeshadow quad, the Burberry palette from 2022, and my favorite eyeshadows now are from Suqqu. Only when i really don't like the colourstory i don't buy it, otherwise i buy it. Most loved ones, and sort of forever quads (have backups as these are ltd) the 116 and 117!!!!!!! Don't think, just blend, and the formula is so refined, addicted to Suqqu shadows! And (not new) but when my eyes really hurt, i still can use Koh Gen Do shadows, i really hope they come with more variations/colours!!! But this is always good. And what i also really loved, but i use eyecream first than to protect my eyes: all Hindash liquid shadows for eyes, cheeks, lips!!! Most loved colour, Carve, perfect for above the eyes, in the crease! I think that's most of it!!! Enjoy your time being away this weekend, sending you lots of love!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

I was going to say… as disappointing as the Retro Glam palette was is how exciting Sydney Grace’s In Mel’s Memory. It’s such a solid palette. It’s color story is fun to look at, but more importantly the products deliver on quality.

I have come to realize that every product isn’t for me. I don’t wear colorful eyeshadow looks so many won’t work for me and I’m over I can make it work, I don’t have the skill set to use PML eyeshadows to get my money’s worth I have a couple but I will no longer buy a palette that needs companion palettes. I do wish they would stop adding cream shadows.

I agree on the Patrick Ta major dimension II pallette. Not my favorite. I love the first one tho. I actually prefer it! I def shouldn't have gotten the second one. I have 42 pallettes. I've consistently used maybe 4 or 5. I also don't reach for either of my Mothership X pallette. I do reach for my quad. However, I absolutely love my Mothership IV

I love Pat McGrath but I never reach for any of her palettes and I own a lot of them 😩 I don’t know what it is.
