If you are trying to min/max and squeeze the most dps. Gas Tight is slightly better by about 2kdps (but obviously not free). I haven't tried running targeted strike yet, so I can't say if it better than explosive shrapnel or not. Will try it out. The highest I have seen on a test dummy was 118kdps with an average of about 110k. That was without 3x Axe crit buff. Great video.

Uhm, idk what's happening, I have 31% crit rate + 144.8% crit dmg. Valor 3 star full calibrated. All those mods and my DPS is 60K with deviant lonewolf 5-3

Im exploring this build. Currently at 15k dps max. Wondering how you guys do that 100k dps. Atm, i have the gun with 86 ammo per clip with some auto reload mods. Changed it to something like yours but no where near your dps so switched back to the auto reload mods. But can definitely solo some hard boss with some spawns like hound in one clip.

yeah me too, barely do damage with this gun. the only gun in this game that got me the best damage was the mg4 predator weakspot build...

Does tier on the weapon matter? I noticed that in the video your weapons/armor were in tier 3, should I use tier 3 or tier 5?

To make it 3 stars all i did was play the gamble till it was finished and I also purchased the gun and upgraded it with its weapon fragments. For me i rolled first.

I honestly tested cage and it just under performs. The main reason i believe is obliterate mod giving extra 15% damage for extra part from beret. Gas tight mask is not too far off but i dont think its worth 8k starchrom

Hm i am struggling here... 3 lonewolfs and 2 falcons give 60% crit dmg and 5% crit rate and your set gives 60% crit dmg 5 % flat crit rate an 8% after reloading for 2 sec plus 10% dmg bonus on bastile.. If i did math good... I will try yours now but will cost me 6k starchrom.. ty

The conditioning of falcon is a lot worse. You will most likekly not be above stamina threshold in harder fights due to dodging.

I guess i should have covered this. You can upgrade it by clicking on the blueprint. It will open a new window where you can chose only specific gun fragments. In our case the weapons we can use for fragment are Jaws weapons a purple shotgun and last valor. I might be missing 1 or two but these are the ones you can use. However, if you use the same fragment as the weapon you will benefit 2x from it.

@@pekhamhalder5332 If you buy a gun that you have not yet unlocked it will unlock it once you purchase. So if you are going to use something as fragment make sure you already have the blueprint unlocked

I only have 4 options per level. the first 4 match but I don't have that 5th one. on 2nd row only first 2 match. 3rd row I have all 4 in different order. 4th row only 2 match and 1 of yours is in my 2nd row.

Huh.... This has got me SO confused. I run this *exact* build and i get 21k DPS at best with deviant buff & utility buff active. Crazy. I wonder if damage is different between PvE and PvP? Im on PvE

He's not using his own footage, there is 0 chance he's getting his dps that high right now. There were a few changes last patch and the full damage you might do to a boss will no longer reflect on the dummy. Also, he's not even using the correct calibration he advertises in his videos. Dude is a fraud.

Don't listen that gas mask is awesome. Even though it says max shrapnel target parts 1 the last valor actually can trigger it twice with its unique ability crit before the shrapnel proc. So really you could get 2 x 120% shrapnel proc while baret + valor can get up to 3 trigger but all at 50%......shrapnel build is quite funny without gas mask imagine shooting 2-4 bullets at the body hoping for a proc on the head at half the bullet damage or just let those 2-4 bullet hit the head for full damage. 😵‍💫

Got to be lucky with critR, critD, and weapD ig. Likewise prebuffs for shrapnel has been nerf (xBow, axe), one shrapnel cradle gone with -5% dmg reduc on dummy.

The 140K DPS part is definately from weeks ago, because they made some changes on Test Dummy that affected SOCR The Last Valor's dmg to it

You know this build relies on Crit Rate right? Does the Bingo and Wildfire give that? You know Long Axe can still activate Fortress Warfare without a direct hit right? Any other melee weapon to use instead? These 2 are still the best options for this specific build regardless of how dishonest the footage is in this video (it's week old footage for a current build).. Switch videos if you want and go find an "up to date build" that uses items that drops damage even more lol.. The Long Axe effect got nerfed, Fortress Warfare didn't.. Crossbow lost 15% Crit Rate.. But it still gives Crit Rate.. You won't get 140k.. But they are still the best options for this specific build.. Name better secondaries/melee..

@@lchmist883 I personally prefer wildfire since it's more flexible + i actually like recover mark on it for insane sustain but you're absolutely right. For pure damage (which is what most videos try to show since that's what gets the average viewer's neurons to fire) crossbow and long axe are still best in slot so PrettyboyPa's comment makes no sense lol

On paper it sounds amazing, in practice when running silo or poi no one's going to bother trying to keep the buff up every 10 seconds and if you consider the animation time too its like extra reload ontop of your reload. Even in monolith aside from tree and wolf others have invulnerability phase. You could still say you do all that combo no matter what, I say as long as your happy switching all 3 weapon every 10 or even 30 seconds great have fun.

63k on new dummy is not so bad. They changed some stats on dummy making Last valor do less. But this does not reflect correctly when you are fighting against deviants. It actually does so much more damage against deviants. I would say if you are full build you can still pull around 80-100k dps.

You can get each mod at its corresponding silo. If you go to Silos it will tell you which piece of mod will drop from it. For weapon go to Hound.

? Long axe no longer works this way. Crossbow got gutted, definitely no longer the best option. You're like a week behind. There is 0 chance you can do 140k dps as it currently is. The testing footage isn't even yours. Your not even using the precision calibration in it, the fire rate is too high. Dishonest video. New players, stay away from this dude.

Although I do agree that some of the footage is dishonest, there are a few things to clear up: 1. Crossbow lost 15% Crit Rate.. Massive nerf.. Is there any better secondary to use as a pre-buff for Shrapnel? The other 2 Bull's Eye secondaries do not offer Crit Rate, which this build relies on.. 2. The main effect of Long Axe now requires a direct hit and lost 2% Crit Rate.. However, Fortress Warfare still works.. It's still a good idea to use it as a pre-buff just for Fortress Warfare.. No other melee weapon has a buff that does not require a direct hit.. Long Axe is the only one with Fortress Warfare.. Unless you can name a better melee, it's still best for this build.. So with all that said, yes this video is a week behind.. And no, it still is the best option because there literally are no other options.. Will you reach 140k? No.. Do you have any other things to use in place of Crossbow and Long Axe? Also no.. You could argue Bingo for Weakspot DMG or Wildfire for Weapon DMG, but those aren't Crit Rate.. I agree with half of what you said and disagree with the other half.. No chance in hitting 140k and no shot this video uses Precision Calibration.. However, this build is still the best for Shrapnel.. Good luck solo'ing lab with it though.. But it's still the best Shrapnel one..

@@lchmist883 I will agree with some nerfs and changes to dummy you will not hit 140k dps but before the end of season I was hitting 10k per hit still. And LEA can be soloed with this build. However it is harder than a shock or a frost build.

But you're not even using the precision calibration you suggest in the footage, the fire rate is way too high. So then, do you just have no idea what you're talking about. My money is, you have no idea what you're talking about, heard shrapnel builds were good, decided to make a video on it, couldn't get the numbers you saw other people getting, "borrowed" someone else's build guide and footage. it’s not tungsten ore that’s the issue, it’s the acid needed to make tungsten. yeah there’s ways to actively and passively farm acid, but late game uses tons of acid for so many recipes
