I would say skate is more polished, but xl has a lot more versatility and captures more of what you want to do on a skateboard in game that imitates real life

Probably cause skate is more accessible to the average gamer that has a console. The key in your comment is XL with mods. I have Skater XL on console and I’ll admit that the window between it arriving on console and til Session reached console. I thought Skater XL was the greatest thing ever. Then I play Session with a stat menu and it makes SXL so bad, on console. You definitely need a PC and mods to really get a proper experience of Skater XL. Not to mention it’s dead from devs on console. It hasn’t been updated in years. It forces people without a PC to admit that Skate is better.

@@neshaunblaine I agree when it comes to accessibility. Skater XL might be the worst skate game of all time when it comes to accessibility. But when we are just talking about what can be done. Skater XL is the most realistic and best feeling skateboarding game of all time. They are completely blowing it when it comes to brining a more polished version to console. Because what people are doing on PC is incredible. I play on PC myself, and there are so many amazing maps and mods for the game that would never be able to happen normally without such an amazing community. Real life spots and parks, all the gear and stat mods. PC version of Skater XL is simply amazing.

It's just top tier from gear to maps to style and animations. Session could never...even with its janky Stat menu and shitty animations.
