I was in Watts bar the other day and caught several large mouths and 2 almost 20 lb stripe. They were doing the same thing out chasing balls of bait. I was in my boat however watching them on livescope. Days like that are magical and a true blessing.

Hey Jack, friends with your Dad! Met him at Nance’s one day. Only managed to get him on the water once so far but working on it. I put in often at that location in my jet but usually head either up river or down but haven’t really fished the area near the ramp. I guess I need to change that! Biggest smallie from the Holston for me has been 4 1/2. 6lb + is EPIC!!! Honestly didn’t even know that they exist in that river. You’re definitely a good stick and congrats on that HOG!

Caught my PB of 6lbs 14oz out of the south holston inside of Eastman. There is definitely giants in that river.

You can look at the Cherokee dam schedule and it will tell you what time it’s generating and how much water. Thank you it was a crazy day. Just went out yesterday morning and had another epic day
