i thought i need it a smart helmet but now with the connectivity of the bmw on new models like my s1000rr that i can connect my phone and have directions on the tft screen . a good helmet and a communication system is all i ever need .cool concept though

Watch Fortnine's video about "Why the snell rating is meaningless" the old ece standards were equal in different ways to snell, they had better rotational protection but less impact protection. now ece 22.06 (the new version) has the same impact protection as snell and better, and even better rotational impact than ece 22.05. ECE 22.06 and FIM are almost exactly the same. If a helmet has FIM or ECE 22.06 and has a fibreglass or carbon shell, its the safest you can get.

@@ClaymorePvP I agree, SNELL ratings are next to useless, I wont touch an american made helmet simply because the asians are universes ahead of them and comply to EU requirements that would make a yank's head spin. Fortnine explains it all brilliantly.

These helmets look like Saturday morning TV with all the little kiddies flying in their space ships to another planet . Also these prices are much much too inflated . These helmets are designed/styled to "appear" costly just to try to condition people into thinking that they are worth the sticker prices but there are not . Motorcycle helmets should not be much more than $ 300 , that's all . For all of you out there looking to buy helmets , don't get tricked into paying these really very high inflated prices , there not worth it .
