Why do you feel the M95 is the most all around sniper over Enfield if you prefer Enfield in close combat? Does the damage difference really matter that much in medium range? And are there any more detailed breakdowns on the reload differences on them? I guess the 5 round magazines vs the 10 round single round reload is somewhat debateable.

IMO The Spawn Beacon is a lot more useful as the AP-Mine. A right placed Spawn-Beacon can help your Team win, the AP-Mine can't.

Helping the team win doesn’t mean jackshit when half of each team are both playing as scummy and cheap as possible and are constantly tbagging. The rest are complete morons who constantly try to take the enemy teams spawns, instantly losing them and then in the process losing every other objective leading to our team being spawn trapped

Just got to say mate, you have inspired me to try and master, or at least become slightly effective, with the sniper class. Since bf4 where I started in battlefield I have never played sniper because I was just terrible with it, but your videos with the sniper are so fun to watch. So I’ve been practising over the past few days and today I had a grand operations match where I was pulling off some quick scopes and ended up being second overall on the leaderboard with 64-22 KD until my son decided to try and switch the plug for the Xmas tree lights on and switched off the router instead! Was such a fun game I actually felt effective to the team with the sniper which I never have before, so thanks for all the sick videos mate really enjoy your content. And incase you do read this I commented on jacky boy frags video with mattimio and said you guys need to get together with sacriel and make a squad play video. Don’t think about it just do it!

Take every shot you can, try to think of ballistics whilst you aim, etc. it ain’t hard, you just have to play a lot and learn the physics of the game.

I use the spawn beacon to avoid going back to plane spawn (or any one in the squad). Airborne is the only place for the pathfinder if others are using the same tactic, but as stodeh says, I rarely see more people using it. I use the spoting scope to mesure distances to target to better understand what elevation I need to actually hit. Also use it on vehicles when ever I see one.

Knives are 35 damage, blunt weapons like a club are 45, and tools/swords like the pick axe/kukri are 55. Both players closing the distance usually shoot each other with their pistols and whoever swings first gets the kill. The pickaxe and hatchet can be used to bust windows and break wood, though it bugs me how you can’t cut wire. You could in BF1.

In my opinion the best gun skin combination is Blued on any metal bits like the mag and receiver and mint on the stock and handguard. Looks great to me.

The flare helps me to find where that single infantry hiding in the flag when you capturing it with your squad multiple times. The radius is a bit small tho but I understand if it was same as BF1, its going to be OP.

People always be down on my bayonet. It's actually good! When you see someone unawares, just charge them. No chance of missing, no ammo wasted, an no revives possible. Not gonna change the game or anything, but not bad. Variable sights is OK too with low drag bullets. Just barely an improvement.

I played recon most of the time and I always go with the trowing knives. Sometimes when other players are close; trowing knives is my ultimate resource. I usually go with a high rate fire pistols instead of the revolver. Last night I killed a full squad. Just running arround a bush with pistol and trowing knives

I'm a long range sniper. 250 meters or longer is my speciality. I take the spotting scope because it has a built in rangefinder. I also spot tanks and aircraft with it.

I use kar98k iron sighted with the quick aim , the machined bolt and the bayonet and it is just so much fun ! With enough cover and your team helping you out , you can pick up a good amount of kills in med to short ranges like devastation and Rotterdam . what's better is that the snipers don't know that you are a sniper until you get their heads... hah. The bayonet can be very successful when you are enemy is at a decent close range, or in a recon vs recon situation you are most likely guaranteed to beat him. Also with the iron sight and the machined bolt it is significantly faster to aim and reload the gun, you use a stripper clip to reload the gun so you have some advantages. The scope in bf5 unlike in bf1 is mounted on the top so it blocks the receiver not allowing you to use the clip but with the iron sight it is an exception. I hope you give it a go.

Im probably being ignorant but i have almost 40 hours in the recon class and i still cant see the difference with having Low drag rounds and without, i feel especially with the kar98 with low drag rounds it makes the bullet even with more drop.

Gimme a run down. I'm finally doing pretty well with sniping (2.10 KD) but my biggest gripe is that i can't see my bullet so i rarely know how to compensate for bullet drop and just have to "feel" it out. Any tips?

MrRhysStocks I rarely ever compensate for bullet drop while using 150m zero zoom for longer ranges because there will be no apparent bullet drop! Just change the zero from 60m to 150m for long and extremely long ranges and aim, shoot, kill. (I haven’t found the 300m zero helpful in any situation yet, probably because there haven’t been any 300m+ engagements yet)

MrRhysStocks yes, that’s basically how it works. As for when you should change from 60m to 150m, it’s best to just guess it. You’ll get pretty used to it the more you use it, and tbh the 150m works almost just as well as 60m in closer ranges while also performing better at longer ranges.

1 more downside not mentioned in this video, but JackFrags talked about it. If you see a flare that is giving away the position of you and your allies, you can shoot it with your gun. It put's out the flare and negates the intel that it would provide.

Flare gun is so horrendous. Bf 1 flare gun was so good and actually well designed with how the scout class was used. I wouldn't make the BF V one the same, but it needs some help.

they are supposed to patch the 3 shot kill on the snipers. something about hitting a limb not doing the appropriate amount of damage. updating the hitbox so hitting a shoulder from the side will not do normal limb damage...it will do torso damage. I believe the same with the upper thigh. lower are arms and lower legs may still be 3 shot with weaker snipers. don't quote me on the adjustments, but they are definitely working a fix for the 3 shot kills on scouts

pathfinder is the best spawn wherever theres a spawn beacon example in iwo jima when u play american side if u have no control of any flag but u have beacons of other squads in there u can spawn and place your own so your squad can go easily

Hey, this is kind of a subtle thing, but did you know if you take the irons or the 2x you actually reload with a 5 round clip instead of individual bullets? Makes for a faster reload. It's an interesting touch because the larger scopes block the 5 round clip so realistically that's the only way you would be able to do that reload if you had the scope on in real life. I use the gold irons on there SMLE for that reason.

The flare gun is decent for smaller areas .. but it is a bit trash tho if you compare it to bf1 which I think was op ... they should maybe give you 2 from spawn and increase the surface area by 1.5

Can you do one of these for the jungle carbine too? Or, if you already have one and I haven't seen it, disregard. I personally have it set up with iron sights, high velocity bullets, slings and swivels, machined bolt and enhanced grips. I usually stick to medium range though I have mixed success at close or long as well, but to be honest I have always felt like the specializations have a modest impact at best and no matter which ones you choose you inevitably always find yourself in situations where you wish you'd gone the other route.

I actually use the Flare gun constantly and you can still use it to burn people. Meaning you can either just fire it straight into a choke-point or use it to help prefire people since you can fire it at the ground if someone is chasing you and wait for the hitmarkers to appear. I'm not going to pretend that it happens all the time but I have definitely found my uses for the flare gun. I also think that it behaves differently according to the angle at which you fire it. If you fire it at a lower angle then it seems to burn brighter and set enemies on fire; whereas firing it at a higher angle then it deploys the parachute and also covers a higher area of spotting on the minimap I think. Great video nonetheless. (P.S Bayonet is also a good last resort tool and I get plenty of kills with it by just running behind cover then 'prefiring' with the bayonet into the doorway etc)

Spawn beacons are used alot more on ps4 and Xbox than pc with it that pc users can have a faster reaction time than console users so the spawn beacon is used less

You have to get the weapon to level 10, go to assignments and find the Mastery assignment for the rifle you want gold. Some challenges are easy, some harder.
