I bought a few other brand magazines and had same isssues of the mags being sticky to get out, but I just took some sandpaper and sanded down the magazie abit, around the body and abit around the top where the BBs go in, and now it slips in and out with no issues. The hopup on the VSR-10 is one of the best, you dont need to do much with this, just get a metal hopup arm and teflon tape to use around the bucking and the inner barrel to get a better seal for the air

Have you ever compared the JG to a Well? I'm curious what the external quality on the Well and I know the MB03 Well shoots about 450-470 when you remove the little limiter and the new models come with a 6.03 inner barrel oh yeah and the hop up clicks into each adjustment so it probably less likely to come out of tune

i have worked on them in the past, but it has been quite a few years. i still feel jg is a better option for upgrading and compatibility, but well may be a better option to run stock.

Just got mine and I do agree on everything you said except the rating. You can not compare this to a Noveritch, however that is 6-7-8 times more expensive and is not giving 8 times the quality or accuracy that we are going for. If you rate this do it against other competitors in the same price range and class then this should not be any lower than a 8 or 9 of 10 I'm really happy with mine (after I changed the hop up and the spring ofcourse :D )

I bought the version with the metal trigger box and it shoots at about 500 fps out of the box. I use 28g bbs and it performs very well. I'm gonna be trying 32g bbs next. I absolutely love this sniper. It does have its cons, such as the bolt is a little scratchy when ya pull it back and the mags are kinda hard to get out but other than that it's an amazing gun imo.

Are there any reasons behind some people buying the more expensive tokyo marui version as opposed to the jg version? Especially when they plan on upgrading the hell out of it. Is it better put together? Or does it have better quality parts, externally I mean? Or is it more of a brand thing just for the fact that they have a tokyo marui? Thanks and nice video liked and sub

the tm is better build quality, and the stock hop up/barrel accuracy is excellent from what i hear. if money doesn't matter, then spend the money.

I just went with the trusted Tokyo Marui VSR-10 for $194 over this for my son instead of the JG for Christmas with a scope and rail mount. What upgrades do you recommend as far as exact barrel and hop up unit and bucking you recommend for it and anything else? I just got my son a Action Army m170 spring for it too, as I thought it would help lift it to our field max of 550fps. Thanks for suggestions.

no, the bolt is about as soft to pull back as any other gun. it only shoots about 410fps stock. the scope is a cheaper matrix 3.5-10x40 scope, about $80.

DO NOT PUT OIL IN YOUR BARREL. fast way to really give you a crap day. i just dry clean my barrel with a cleaning rod and paper towel. it's not a real gun...

I have a bar -10, it has enough power and accuracy out of the box for my backyard shooting purposes. Claims to have 450 fps at .20 gram bbs. The TM only has 290 so you will almost definitely want a spring upgrade and with the scope it's a bit more expensive. I believe it is overall higher quality.

I don't agree with your grade, because anyone who wants to use this on the field is going to upgrade the shit out of it so putting nicer nicer stock parts in it would be just a waste of money. And the people who will use this as a backyard gun will probably be satisfied with it's performance. I think you should consider this criteria too when giving grades. Let's just say it has good practical performance.
