Just received Gold by Tous perfume today. It's delightful! It's reminiscent of 5th Avenue initially. The dry down reminds me of my favorite bodywash, Caress the original formula, but a bit more powdery.

Hi - you may love Body EdP, it is beautiful too, but the bitterness of the wormwood paired with freesia in that one is a little much for me. My sister loves it though!

Great video! One I recently bought that Is growing on me is Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction for women, it’s so clean and slightly soapy :) love it! Also I find Jennifer Lopez’s Miami Glow a bit soapy , nice out of the shower scent, and Justin Bieber the key :)

My favorite soapy scent is Paper Soap by J-scent. If you don't love the original Chloe, you would definitely not like this one. But I adore both! I'm gonna look for the Narciso Rodriguez scent. Loved your description of that one 🧡

Love 5th Avenue, the scent does have a clean component to it that I enjoy. Have you tried Paul Sebastian's Casual? It's a very nice soapy clean fragrance.

@@NotesFromJosephine I see it a lot at TJ Maxx and Ross stores. It's a lovely soapy, clean scent in my opinion. If you try it I think you'll like it. You also convinced me to try Gold by Tous. A few perfume reviewers have approved of Gold as well. I love soapy clean scents as well as sweet scents.

I hope they haven't reformulated the perfume and now it smells like moth balls. That would make me sad. Sorry, you haven't enjoyed the last few bottles of Casual.

Hermes - Le Jardin de Monsieur Li is soapy on the top and bottom notes, mixed with a very complimentary blend of white rose, jasmine, and lily. Defs my favorite in the soapy category :) Have you tried it yet?

Did you know that JLo Glow was copied from TerraNova's beautiful fragrance called Rain? Years ago I contacted TerraNova about that, and they acknowledged that JLo used to buy Rain by the gallon from them! By the way, TerraNova (and it's sister company called Body Time) were once known as The Body Shop long before the U.K. company came to the U.S. The U.K. company sued for the name, and they won.

Poison Tendre is not maybe so much soapy as it is clean, like downy and bounce dryer sheets had a baby lol..... its rather pricey these days and discontinued but I find I can wear Cabotine and once it hits into the mid heart it smells the same on me but apparently im lucky because not everyone is treated to this facet of the original Cabotine.

Hi - I think you might really enjoy Lalique perfumes, you should check them out! And I'm not offended at all by your comment on my clothes and actually addressed this in a video not long ago. I almost always wear black and in my casual time I have a number of black tops that are very similar. I guess it has become a 'uniform' of sorts because I want to keep things real and focus only on the perfume. Thanks for your comment!
