The Conca's social animation really is one of the best in the games. Feels like a dog pretending it didn't do anything to mess with it's friend or trying to hide something from its owner.

Reminds me more of a Raven or crow. Just how the other corvid is throwing a tantrum and the corvid causing the problem isn't amused then nips at its tail as it walks away.

I absolutley love the Concavenator’s design in the game, and also his social animation, so playfull and teasing as one tries to play up the other. One thing tho, at 11:47 you can see that the dead human’s ragdoll actually takes another tourist, the Concavenator scored a colateral!😂 A very good showcase as always, probably this was my favorite alongside the Gigantoraptor.

I don’t know if it’s just me or not but the Concavenator reminds me a lot about monitor lizards mainly in its killing animations, specifically the one where it kills the goat because that’s what monitor lizards do if they catch a rat or something they grab it and violently shake it using their serrated teeth to cut the flesh and blood vessels.

The social animation reminds me of that video of the two bloodhounds where the younger one leaped onto the older one causing the older one to bark roughly at the younger one, forcing the younger one to back off and act all stonefaced. But at the end of the video as the older one moves away the younger one smacks it, which reminds of the Concavenator nipping at the other's tail.

These guys are great! And that social animation is fantastic. Very much has the energy of someone just aiming to cause a bit of trouble, but immediately going "Huh? What was that? I didn't see anything." Just being an obnoxious and mischievous pest. And it really is a beautiful dinosaur. Definitely a fan of these guys.

That social animation really helps it stand out. It's reminiscent of cats being cheeky. While I have been spoiled by the LAS species mod, this is still very solid. Glad it finally made the cut.

With a Cretaceous Predators Pack out, I'd now like to see in the future, a Cretaceous Herbivore Pack. Argentinosaurus as the BIG attraction. Microceratus to finish up the Film Dinosaurs Shantungasaurus, because we need our largest ever hadrosaur. Psittacosaurus for something quilled.

Gotta say this is my favorite, whilst the Utahraptor has the most quality, this one has the most charm imo, Utah is gorgeous but fairly safe as far as design goes. I just prefer dinosaurs that step out of usual boundaries instead of just being a supersized pre-existing creature, the silhouette of a creature is very important to me. I'm also just a big fan of quills in general and I like how extra unique this dinosaur is with the snake-like features, perfect for a horror movie. There's a lot of personality not only in the design but even some of the animations as well, about as standout as it gets for this game. I do hope we get a variant with a sail instead, something that nods to the old JP version.

I love jwe2, but i only play it for a couple days in sandbox for like a day after a new dlc and forget about it, jwe1 i played a ton, and i think its all because of the campaign. We need a better, longer, and more rewarding campaign. 5 staring each island was so fun in jwe1

I think after seeing these 4 Utah is really lovely, Conca looks gorgeous and love the personality it has with the gremlin vibe and its animations, Tarbo has nice animations and the Frontier skins do make it look better as well as the model been an improvement over the CC one, but it is at the lower end. Giganto while nice with the kick animations and looks nice didnt really have any strong feelings to it tbh

Greatly like these dinos. They're probably the most finicky in terms of environment, I think they might be bugged with the water especially, but I end up creating neat swamplike enclosures because of it.

I am soooooo so so so so glad that they didn't give it the thumbs that the fallen kingdom one has. All the mattel toys have it and I die inside a little each time I see them. In any case this is such a gorgeous love letter to the real animal and the research done on it.

I don’t remember what I was watching (and this was YEARS ago), but I saw a design where one of T. rex’s fingers was more like an opposable thumb. To this day, I still don’t know how I feel about that.
