Subscribed 😊 Make some JADAM Microorganism Solution (JMS) to help fix your soil,(i have made video on how to make it on my channel ) Is a Korean farming method designed to foster beneficial indigenous microorganisms in the soil. This solution is easy to make, low-cost, and helps support soil fertility, making it especially useful for organic farming. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make JMS: Materials Needed 1. **Leaf mold soil**: Look for rich, naturally decomposed soil with plenty of microorganisms, usually found in undisturbed forested areas or under fallen leaves. 2. **Unrefined sea salt**: This is used to stimulate microorganism growth. 3. *Potato* (or other starchy vegetable like sweet potato or yam): Acts as a nutrient source for the microorganisms. 4. **Water**: Use well water, rainwater, or any non-chlorinated water. 5. **Bucket or container**: Use a large container (20 liters or more) depending on the scale of your need. Ensure it has no holes. Step-by-Step Instructions Step 1: Prepare the Potato Starch Solution 1. Boil about *100-200 grams of potato* (or equivalent starch source) in water until it becomes soft and releases starch into the water. 2. Mash the boiled potato to create a starchy mixture, which will be the main food source for the microorganisms. 3. Let the potato solution cool to room temperature. Step 2: Collect Leaf Mold Soil 1. Go to a forested area where you can find **healthy, dark, and crumbly soil**-this is where natural microorganisms thrive. 2. Collect about *1 cup (around 100 grams)* of leaf mold soil. This small amount is enough, as it will multiply in the solution. Step 3: Mix Ingredients in a Container 1. Fill your container with about **20 liters of non-chlorinated water**. 2. Add the cooled potato mixture and *1 tablespoon of unrefined sea salt* to the water. Stir well until the salt dissolves. 3. Add the leaf mold soil to the mixture and stir gently. Avoid stirring too vigorously, as the goal is to keep the microorganisms intact. Step 4: Fermentation Process 1. Place the container in a *shaded area* with good airflow, ideally at an outdoor temperature between 15-25°C (59-77°F). Cover the container loosely with a breathable cloth or mesh to keep pests out but allow air circulation. 2. Let the mixture sit for **3-5 days**. Stir the mixture once a day to keep the microorganisms distributed and to introduce a bit of oxygen. Step 5: Check for Readiness 1. After 3-5 days, you should see a light frothy foam forming on the surface. This foam is a sign that microbial activity is thriving. 2. JMS is ready to use when it has a mild, earthy smell. If it smells foul or rotten, discard it and try again. How to Use JMS - **Dilution**: Dilute JMS at a 1:10 ratio with non-chlorinated water before applying. - **Application**: Spray or water your soil and plants with the diluted JMS to enhance beneficial microbial activity. This can help improve soil health, nutrient availability, and plant growth. JMS is best used fresh, within a day or two, as the microbial population will decline over time. Avoid storing it for extended periods.
