The title Agora Hills refers to Agoraphobia, which is the fear of going outside of leaving home. This explains the long toenails because she doesn’t need shoes if she never leaves the house, this explains why the only communication she has is on the phone too When she was making the album she said there would be two characters in the album, Scarlett is one, this seems to be the other. From this song forward the rest of the album is soft and all about love and emotions and being madly in love and focused only on that. This side of her stays in the house and no one is exposed to it out of fear (hence agoraphobia). First half of the album is Scarlett, the cutt throat unapologetic rap version of her front facing self. The second verse is the two characters going back and forth throughout the verse. Yes Agora Hills is a place in Cali but shes mainly referencing "agoraphilia" The love of public life, crowds, and activity which when her lyrics are put in shes is talking about her fetish of having sex in public areas but not being able to in order to keep her relationship private if that makes sense lol

Beyoncé talked about having crippling stage fright and shyness, yet loved to perform. Some people who have selective mutism when talking to the other sex, yet actively want to talk to the other sex. They just have a blockage there. There are so many instances of this in the world. Also, Doja is just making a metaphor not a direct one-for-one. Also as for the meaning behind the tile of the song, 'Agora Hills' is a misspelled name of the actually city in California. It's actually spelt 'Agoura Hills' which I believe Doja lived there for it bit, but the spelling is wrong on purpose. It's supposed to be a play on words between 'Agoura Hills' where she lived, which is also an explanation for why she uses the "valley girl accent" in the first verse, and the word 'Agoraphilia ", which basically means the love of public life, and in sexology it's referred to as the love of Public Display of Affection (PDA) , I.E: kissing, hugging...smashing in public, which she sings about a lot in this song. It's quite genius imo.

Agoura Hills is a place in LA and where Doja is from. "Agora" Hills is a nod to that, but an Agora is Greek for a meeting place/community center. Tangential, Agoraphobia is the extreme or irrational fear of entering open or crowded places, of leaving one's own home, or of being in places from which escape is difficult. Basically, all the "I want to show you off" is just that. She wants to show off her man, but he might be scared to be in the spotlight?
