@eri_ck9260 well tormented bosses last seconds if that's any indication 😆 it's heavy gear dependent. I was lucky and got a Shako and crafted a GA Tyreal. Also got GA fractured with 3 MW on the conjuration CD. 80% Tal Rasha. I've been very lucky

Yeah the build gets exponentially stronger with the final gear upgrades. It's crazy how even just 10% of a stat can double or triple the damage in the super late endgame

I started with just winterglass and tal rasha, worked well. And easily farmed lv6 for a while with just winterglass,eus's and tal rasha, all MW 4. Then farmed lv7 half MW8 half MW12. Shako is good after got shako and tyrael I can farm lv8 but you can definitely start with just winterglass.

Thank you for this! I've been doing a starter version of this build (no mythics) for a few days and finally beat Lilith for the forst time. Then I got Tyreal's Might (my first Uber/Mythic) like 5 minutes later by beating tormented grigoire. One more day of play (on a fresh Rogue) and I'll have my 4th resplendent spark to craft a shako.

Can you make an in-depth guide on when to get into the pit-pushing version of your build and what exactly it entails? When to swap out Fists of Fate is well explained in your guide but when do I swap out Tal Rasha for a 2nd legendary ring? And what do I prioritise in Tal Rasha to begin with? GA CDR with e.a. 14% aspect or 20% aspect with normal affixes? And should I only swap to legendary pants if I stop using Tal Rasha? Finally, can you take us through the final skill & paragon changes you make for pit-pushing?

Just farm some sparks and make the items. Easy to get gold in infernal horde activity. If you spend all your aether on money it's big money. Also material chest will take care of master work mats.

Doin Sorc for the first time. Was doing Chain Lighning until it started to suck at lvl 80. Was considering starting over with another class, Necro was my favorite. Saw a variant of this build. Sorc is now my favorite class. Realized i had the gear on accident. I got a the helm from Helltide boss. I got the neck randomly and didn't look at it again. I had everything except the chest lol. This shit is too fun.

hi mekuna ive made this with just tal rashas ring. fractured winter glass and esu's went with godslayer for helm and its awesome everything ive done so far has been easy still leveling glyphs but i can see im gonna be real happy so thanks for sharing :)

To have 0 sec cd on spear you need cdr on helm rings and high rolled amulet. The most important stats is chance for cast frozen orb by conjuration andr cdr when orbs expolde. And you need both of them high rolled. Only in this case build is works.

Great guide. Only part failed to mention is the GA and masterwork on CDR is an absolute must (at least of the two). Its impossible to spam lightning spear without having at least ga on 1 cdr and double masterwork on both

I suggest instead try out replacing Tyreals might with a standard chest and use the aspect Snowveiled which gives 5s unstoppable and 25% dr from ice armor - so that means perm unstoppable/25% DR + perm tibaults uptime for both the DR and damage. I'm very much enjoying this setup.

@@baldis12 Tyreals only beats it defensively. I very much like being perm unstoppable for starters, and perm uptime on tibaults is also nice. But with ice armor spam, the extra DR from Tyreals isnt meaning too much i dont take any damage in t8's - was able to facetank 2 Butchers at once in a t8 without taking dmg. The one very nice thing about Tyreals though is movespeed. Tyreals has no INT and no HP only DR and resist. We are already overcapped res without trying and dont need the extra DR anyways. The bolts from Tyreals barely do any damage. So no I dont think it "beats this in every way".

Yep I've been doing the same with my frozen orb sorc. Feels like you can stagger bosses a lot better with tempering lucky hit chance to CC and snowveiled is great too. I also run +teleport ranks on the chest for speedfarming.

With that much CDR you should try replacing Frozen Orb with Ice Blade on your bar. Youll be able to spam it and lightning spear non stop, youll get more conjurations which boosts your damage, and more benefits from more ice blades active, more barrier from hitting another CD spell

I remember playing this similar build when D4 came out. It was truly one of the lowest tier spec and it needed deep optimization and perfect gear just to make it work but I still played it cause it was visually appealing and cool. I even tried the ball lighting build u showed up in your first video and did some theorycraft with the sorc discord community. I'm glad its finally good and meta, thx to your guide now all I want is to put hours into D4 again

Wow a lot of questions but I think I’d have to get to this lvl to see how it feels. Might take me a bit. 2h for the aspect I’m sure but man, I really like having an off hand haha. I wonder if two rings with speed and 2crit could make up for the DMG loss of the two hand. Also, using green instead of red on armour gives more to crit chance. I wonder how much firedhorld is needed to add the pints to the FO so it can be stronger. I went full crit with FO last season. Made it good enough to the point that the damage was still ok when not staggered. I got to 81.3 crit chance with 1.8k (?) crit DMG. Used the aspect that made my ice armor unstoppable… It’d be cool to see a glass canon board of this build. Man, very well done! Yeah, I need to see you on twitch, I usually watch YT streams :p All that to say too tho, there is only so much glass canonny we can go since we lost flame shield. Man, good theory crafting and execution man! Well done bro!!

going for 1h+offhand is a huge damage loss since all dmg comes from the aspect it's pretty easy to get 100% crit with esu's and conjuration mastery, no need to go for emeralds

crit chance is capped at 85, and i don thinku get unstoppable from flame shield no more. but i could be wrong anyway great video

@@benjamin.andersson Lightning Spear got 15% crit chance so 85+15 is 100% but Splintering energy can also crit, so having more is always good. Flameshield do makes you unstoppable for sure since it procs Thibault's will mana and damage

Gott have your CC at 60% or higher and CD at lest 1000 but you can clean high pits faster stoked to see what it can do when I’m done maxing gear and glyphs. I think you are likely armor overcapped and dont need to invest into the armor paragons (at least i am with similar gear like yours). Might check it out and reinvest the points elsewhere.

Aspect is ur main damage source, 2h makes it x2, same reason for 1 point in LS, u re using LS only to proc aspect

You really need that necklace. And one that rolls a .3 instead of a .1. That's the key to starting the build, because you won't have all the cooldown starting out so the necklace is gonna be your main source of cool down with the .3 seconds taken off of CD when an orb explodes

For some reason the cooldown reduction works for the Ice Blades conjuration but does not affect the Lighting Spear. 🤔

@@STiPoweredwell, I get to the 100lvl with my character and found out several things: - for better results you would need to have a necklace that reduces 0.3 sec of the cooldown per ice sphere explosion; - you would need to temper a as many cooldown reduction affixes to your gear as possible. The same concerns the chance to spawn one more Lightning Spear per cast; - in my case I still had to spam ice spheres to increase the reduction for cooldowns or use a crackling energy for an extra reduction. But at some point you start to suffer from a damage deal to you and a smaller damage you deal to enemies;

Nope and no. Ice blades is best used as enchant.
