Vineet ji, I bought the yas209 of Yamaha based on your excellent feedback in your reviews. Product was delivered to me today itself, but my struggle seems to have started immediately. No customer care available in India for basic issues redressal. I could experience Alexa music and Bluetooth playback. HDMI playback was also through laptop playback. My struggle is with HDMI arc feature. Changed 2 HDMI cables, but still no respite or say HDMI detection with my MiTv 65 inch. Just shared this for your viewers benefit. Thinking of returning the product and going with a Sony product , due to better service network. Thanks for excellent review. Keeping providing your honest reviews.

@@VMone Thanks for your prompt response. I could fix it by factory resetting the sound bar and disabling enabling CEC function on TV. Hope this solution helps your viewers. All functions in YAS 209 are working well and performance is good enough. Still contemplating in returning the product as their is no customer care, no product demo, installation and even during the 1 year warranty the product has to be taken to authorised service repair centre if at all it is nearby. Else, one has to contact contact authorised dealer. In my case it is Amazon, which I doubt they are of any help, going by my today's experience. Sony HTRT 40 is my next in agenda considering Sony branding and good service network. Off course, the cons are poor looks and small rear speakers wire length. Thanks once again for your sincere reviews. All the best for your new videos.

@@RJRajRajRaj I think your HDMI ARC port in TV isn't working fine. You get that checked first. Also, use the cable which I recommend in today's video, along with Amazon Fire Stick 4K to get decoding of all audio and video formats. 😊

These are equally important. I am returning the Yamaha YAS 209, only due to absence of customer care and poor or almost non existent authorised service centres. Thanks once again. Vineet , I went blind on the basis of your review and bought Yamaha YAS 209 though almost decided for Bose 500/JBL 5.1 . What a suggestion man , it not only saves few bucks of mine but also providing me everything you have said about it. So thank you so much and do accept my regards for the suggestion. Having said that , have noticed a small concern , while using the ARC HDMI cable paired with my LG OLED 55C9 , the stereo output is not that satisfactory where I find the mids are bit scattered, may be I am yet to find the accurate combination of controllers on the TV as there are many. On the contrary , when I changed it to the optical cable , the stereo is almost near to the quality of my dedicated setup of Cambridge audio amp and Dali bookshelf speakers but lacks the DTS Virtual X flavor. So need to figure out something to balance between the two though I am fine in using dedicated connections for specific usages and fortunately my C9 allows that through remote control only. But anyway , thanks again for your valuable and honest feedback to help me to take an important purchase decision.

Hi Vineet, I am looking to buy a soundbar with below criteria: 1. Preferably under Rs. 20K 2. Built in alexa/google 3. with or without external subwoofer (but dont want more external additional speakers just a subwoofer may be ok). 4. Connectivity options - HDMI ARC, Optical, Bluetooth are a must. So can you suggest me few options in this range? I saw some very good reviews of Yamaha YAS 109 (i may stretch my budget up to 22k for likes of this but would prefer under 20K :-) ), but I saw some reviews where its peak sound seems to be little lower (how much lower, i dont know). @@satyachaitanya4473 None. I went with LG SL8YG since I was getting it for 34000. It is dolby atmos and sounds really great. I went with it because it has the benefit of 2 additional wireless sorround speakers which can be purchased separately and make it complete Home theatre experience, if required later.

Vineet Ji - I'm holding a Samsung Frame 2019 model and recently bought Samsung Q800T soundbar which has Dolby Atmos and eARC port. I now bought 48 GBPS 2.1 DHIVIS cable from Amazon (the one you suggested). I noticed i got Atmos icon on my Netflix in some content like Cursed, Dark etc. but not in any Apple TV+ or Prime video. Does that mean this cable decoded Atmos? If yes, why not in Apple TV+ or Prime? And I no longer need an Amazon 4K Fire TV stick for my soundbar to decode Atmos? @@peaceandhappiness3491 hi Arun...no I didn't buy the rear speaker kit because that is way too expensive (around 28k) wherein the soundbar costs between 45-50k. If rear speaker is the case, I would prefer to go for JBL 9.1 (79k) because it contains detachable speakers which u can make them rear. Why I didn't go for LG 8Ly bcoz a) I use Samsung QLED TV Frame so SmG soundbar can pass thru HDR10+ b) this SmG soundbar has eARC so I could get 2.1 HDMI which decodes Dolby Atmos..c) Q Symphony technology for SmG TV and SmG soundbar helps enhancing the sound quality even though this technology is only with 2020 TV but I know sooner or later with a firmware update I will get this feature as well....overall liking this new soundbar even though a little minus is the sound as it's not super loud on movies...but will recommend esp if u have SmG TV....thanks Deepak

Vineet g, could u please advise me whether should i purchase LG sj3 or not..However that doesn't have HDMI arc so i dont think so will get a proper output of watching movies in dolby nd dts audio and listening to music in youtube and i have read a lot of reviews that optical cable can't give that much output as compare to HDMI arc.
