I’d say the newer best sounding busses are this, the enviro 400 mmc disel voith and the b8rle evoras

The B8RLE's engine does sound nice , although the ones I've been on so far were all zf ecolife so not much sound there

Personally would say the Citaro Euro6 is a good sounding bus these 4cyl E200mmc’s remind me of vacuum cleaners

It sounds Okay for a city bus with small 4 cylinders, but not as good and powerful as our Enviro200s with 6 cylinder engines and Voiths instead in my opinion. Anyways, a good video to get a feel of buses from the UK.

Volvo B8s easily best new single deck, really nice buses, these things are heaps with their bad build quality and 4 pot engines

I get where you're coming from, therefore I stated it was best in terms of sound. The bee network is getting a fleet of 12.9m B8RLEs apparently so I will definitely try them out

Well 4 cylinder engines usually go in smaller buses genius. They're naturally of poorer quality because they're built in the UK and ever since Britain stopped making proper buses with their own engines, everything since has been crap. With a Volvo all you get is quality. I've driven the 2019 longer versions and I hated them. I hate everything ADL.
