@myskiplanet Although unlike an airliner, you *do* have some choice which landing strip to use ;-) I can see a smooth and straight section just to the right of the two trees. Also the pilot is aggressively using the brakes to 'jump' at 2:43. After this trick, the glider is low on energy, it wants to sink&dive. So his landing is heavy which contributed to losing the ski. If you're not careful, that is a great way to break your legs or back - especially with a Bullet GT 7.7.
