It might sound kind of ''no life''. But it's fair to say that Silkroad Online was my entire childhood. The joy i had while playing this game is nothing to be compared too. I remember finishing school and running back home so i'd just be in time for CTF. The builds i made in the beginning were so stupid if i look back to it. I made a bower/blade/spear, i just took the bow skill for that white bird buff. But hey, i had fun in the end. I started in the week Lord yarkan expansion came out. I've seen Silkroad progress, but the quality dropped quickly after the EU expansion. While it was still playable, the bots took over. It became a ''pay 2 win'' game. There were no spots left to grind at because it was full with botters. Not to speak of the 10DG expansion. That's where it ended for me. The only thing that angers me, is seeing how much people want the oldschool back. I think everyone agrees that they want the 70-80 cap back. Yet Joymax refuses to do anything. (Funny because they only care about money, if they actually did this, they'd make a shitload of money) As much as i hate to say it. It's time to say goodbye to Silkroad. Thank you so much for the great times, i'm grateful FOREVER.

I get goosebumps every time i watch any sro video, it really got special place in my life, when i get kids one day i will teach them to play this, beacuse silkroad is a game where your brain works all the time, like you're getting elements to create tablets and doing trades,ftw and all other talking to each other u meet alot of people there everything u do is increasing your brain capacity and it was soo good for me, i learn english like 85% of it, i am living in Germany for 11 months and i only talk in english, this game improved my life so much, i love it i love it i love it!!!!

Brings back good memories.. Times when you used to skip school or work for new updates, hand grind 6hours+ a day, guild wars, thiefs vs hunter, 1* popping trades, switching job suits at the ferry, waiting hours for a unique to spawn, meeting amazing people. I remember @ 60cap i was around level 32 and i saw a female character in gold armor... it looked so cool! The day i reached hotan i felt like i accomplished something. Getting the level 52 glavie and garment. I used to love getting bots to murder me then id strip them of all their gear and leave them a kind message laughing at them! I don't think any mmo will beat this game for me. It was my first and last mmo that I played for a long period of time. RIP Silkroad

So true, that times was .. amazing :´( When i was low and ask for hunter´s help, but i was always afraid, was so easy change for thief on ferry. lol Or my first unique, i was so nervous... trying to lure uruchi :´) Well, great times... i play 60-110 cap on iSRO and now.. i just keep trying privates, always hope for that "old" feeling... but is impossible. :(

The thousands of memories I have just because I played this rather simple game. The company was/is toxic, the gameplay is not that good... even though... I had the best game experience so far. I miss exploring Taklamakan or Qin-Shi-Tomb for the first time.

man, this time.. this was my first mmorpg and i can still remember when i joined the first time on server Greece and killed a mangjang. I was so happy when i reached lvl 20 with my hybrit cold/fire/light Blader. I don't know why this game is so fucking beautiful.
