The Giants Park is the best in the league (just barely over the Pirates imo of course) Oracle, AT&T, Pac-Bell, whatever you wanna call it, should be the picture in dictionaries next to perfection. The brick wall right in front of the beautiful bay and McCovey Cove. The giant coke bottle and glove in left field. The avocado bar in deep center. Triples alley and the Chevron Cars. Don’t forget some of the best food in baseball. Don’t talk about the best ballpark food until you have the garlic fries! So aesthetically pleasing, and so many unique quirks, the perfect setting to play ball.

I love going to PNC park, visiting the city of Pittsburgh is always a fun time! Its a beautiful city and the people are nice. Pittsburgh is the closest city to my home area and i consider myself quite lucky for that. Ive visited many places in my life and Pittsburghers rank at the top as friendly and helpful when needed. Heres a perk, the Pirates are playing good baseball early this season too!

My brother and I both worked there during its construction in 2000 and 2001. I watched the implosion of Three Rivers Stadium from the roof of the service tower on the first base side on a Sunday morning. And, I installed the speaker cabinets in the short towers of the right field outfield stands. They HAD round Pepsi signs on top but, they changed them to something else. A great, great experience. Loved it.

Flew my sons 1,000 miles so their 1st MLB game would be at PNC. So glad I did. My first game was at Forbes Field, and I was at the first game in Three Rivers. I was even one of just 13,177 there to see Roberto Clemente's 3,000th and final hit (even though about 500,000 claim to have been there).

There’s a triple A team in uptown Charlotte with a gorgeous stadium as well, one the coolest stadiums I have ever been too. When the lack of high rise stadiums the mixture of green grass in a sea of concrete is an epic place to watch a ball game.

One of the Pirates' minor league affiliates just 2 hours away also has a unique view. People's Natural Gas Field in Altoona, PA is home to the Altoona Curve. Located next to the stadium is Lakemont Park, a historic amusement park that's home to Leap the Dips, the world's oldest roller coaster. The other major coaster at the park, Skyliner, is located directly next to PNG field and the side of the train even spells out "GO CURVE". I operated Skyliner and would often watch Curve games from the station.

Living just south of Pittsburgh and going to a game at least 2 times a year I think I take it for granted how nice it is and how nice the city of Pittsburgh is. A lot of nice art and science going on here and plenty of history. Living between that and Morgantown is amazing. If you get the chance a West Virginia black bears game is great too for that small town feel. Appalachia is really one of the prettiest places to visit in my opinion and all the cities and states in and around it are great

In terms of aesthetics, I'd have to say PNC Park is 1st with Camden Yards as 2nd, just for the old feel the park has. But nothing beats a game at Fenway. Around the park might not be a photographer's dream, but the experience of going to a game is just so perfect for someone who just wants to go and enjoy a game.

I'm a Cleveland guy so Pittsburgh is not my ideal place to visit but on the way back from vacation this year we stopped there for two days and caught a Pirates game against the Guardians. Took the pregame ballpark tour and some light rain didn't ruin the day. The stadium is amazing and has incredible views. Easily one of the top ballparks in the country.

Battery Park in Atlanta is a must!! Tons of restaurants, bars, entertainment, etc! We stay literally inside the Battery. We pull in, park, and literally never leave the area until 3 days later. It’s the perfect setup

Last week I road-tripped to watch the Brewers in Pittsburgh and man oh man was it special. The ballpark was so breathtaking that the two games weren’t even enough to take it all in. My only regret is that I wish I’d given myself more time to enjoy the city! A+ Pittsburgh!

The old Forbes Field was the best Baseball Stadium in the league when it was built in 1900. The owner of the team built the Stadium without any government money.

I live near by and go into Pittsburgh on occasion and would recommend looking at a video of people coming out of the tunnel onto The Fort Pitt Bridge at night, you come out to the city skyline from the tunnel.

The only downside is parking is kind of pricey, but the transit system is solid and accessibility from downtown is insanely convenient. This stadium was built to last a good 80 years as well. I'm not architect, but I did work there last season and got to really study it's architectural brilliance. From the catacombs below the playing surface to the club house to the all you can eat hot dog section and the top level of the left field rotunda. It's gorgeous. Some say it's overrated, I say it earned its reputation at the top consistently. It's the only thing pirates fans have to brag about save from the hot start they're having. Lol.
