Tomb Kings surprised me, Arkhan is my preference every time! The vamp units are very respectable mid early game and it's easy to mass the ghouls with 4 unit cap per building. The extra army gives you a leg up immediately on an otherwise time restricted progression. Sure he's not a melee beast but his other pros outweigh his cons by a long way imo!

Gotta HARD disagree on Franz, he's straight up the hardest campaign in the game. Not necessarily at the start, but by turn 15 you get screwed with the way the Impereal Authority works now. No way is his start easier than Markus Wulfhart. Wulfart has the easiest start in the Empire. He starts with weak enemies, gets super strong units early and he doesn't have to deal with the currently cursed Impereal Authority. system. Still love your videos, just completely think you're wrong here.

Hard disagree on Khalida. Arkhan's only enemies are early game Bretonnia, who get dunked on by archer/chariot spam, and Dwarfs, who get dunked on by chariot spam. Meanwhile, Khalida gets jumped on after looking at Queek sideways, Kroq'gar snaps into your army like a slim-jim, and Imrik is staring at you from across the waters all the while. If not Imrik, then Ghorst will be eager to throw approximately 80,000 zombies at you.

Arkahn went from one of the hardest starts to one of the most relaxed. That extra army, coupled with a smaller starting province, helps a lot.

I played both and you're correct. In my Khalida campaign, Imrik liked me for most of it, which was great but I had Queek constantly attacking me from the north and later joined by Tretch, Kroq Gar constantly coming at me from the south and later joined by a Slaanesh faction, Thorek constantly coming at me from the west until I finally took him out and then he got replaced by Skarbrand and Wurzag. I also had Kairos dicking with me with his Changing of Ways bullshit. Towards the end, Imrik decided he didn't like me anymore and Helman Ghorst sent six stacks of zombies my way just for yucks. Oh, also every Lizardman faction in Lustria decided to send a few stacks my way, too, for good measure. Arkhan was much easier in the early game but in the later game, I started having the same problems but I was in a much better position to defend myself. I even managed to get all the books with him. I had to forget that with Khalida.

Yea Arkhan has one more Army at almost any point in the game cuz faction mechanic so there is no way any other tombking start is easier...

Gotta disagree on several choices here: Thorgrim has enemies literally to all sides and can be a real slog early game, especially when you factor in his grudges. Grombrindal has much easier starting grudges and comparably less immediate enemies to worry about. Karl really isn't as easy a start as you're making it seem. The first war can be annoying as hell since you have to take the fort as well and afterwards your expansion opportunities are very limited. Gelt meanwhile can pretty easily grab Sylvania which gives him a gold mine and very good province. Hard disagree on the Lizardmen. Gorok is surrounded by enemies and can't really afford enough armies to defend all sides. Mazdamundi meanwhile just has some weak chaos and norscans to beat up and can very easily gain 3 full provinces. Why Isabella over Vlad? Vlads bonuses are flat out better than Isabellas when it comes to the campaign..... Valkia? Really? Archaon is closer to more Dark Fortresses and is way safer than Valkia.

Yeah, considering how many people consider KF to have the hardest start in the game, and what a cakewalk my Volkmar campaign was, I'm not sure he looked into his assessment very closely on this one.

Boris for me was one of the more enjoyable campaigns for me. Instead of fighting with Chaos, just migrate south and go after Norsca. Once you roll through them, provides a strong base to move and attack from

Be careful with Ikit in the case of Malagor, he is a pos who can turn on you at any time. Had to restart his campaign due to being dogpiled by everyone for taking two territories, not even provinces.

I've noticed in recent campaigns Taurox and his defeated and eliminated by clarond kar that minor dark elf faction he's supposed to beat. Idk if it's cause the early game armour piercing projectiles destroy him in auto resolve or what but it's crazy

thought you make a good case for gor-rok I find Kroq-Gar and Tehenuin to be better longer term mostly cause the sacrifices to sotek make a skink army viable (I've done it in WH 2 and 3) and Kroq-Gar taking gor-rok's one big thing imcome reduction chiefly for saurus ontop of being able to recruit higher level old-bloods (once you get a bit of empire up and going) ontop of the biggest early game threat to Kroq-gar being snake lady and maybe queek if he gets a very very lucky start. starting with lordkroak however does knock almost every arguement for kroq out though and Tehenuin is only viable if you go from the start of being a skink dominated army and even then it needs support from I used stegadons but the lizardmen monsters in general

As Ulfric, Belakor always declare war and kick my ass, you have to wipe it from existence or will be back even with 0 settlements and wont want peace. Thrott is much easier and safer

Hard Disagreement on the woodelves take. Since Durthu starts at war with a dwarfen faction his relations to other order factions and especially dwarfs suffer really hard and more often then not belegar declares war followed by empire which combulutes ur relations with other order factions more als more and then every bad guy hates you als all good guys hate you too... meanwhile sisters of Twilight have unarguably the strongest lvl 1 of every lord and can kinda win theyre startbattles without even loosing any unit and dont get completely fucked other diplomaticly.

I mean… I would generally make friends with all other Empire factions and it becomes easy 🤷‍♂️ Vlad has a level bonus to human diplomacy. One of the blood kiss factions has a bonus too. All your enemies kinda evaporate pretty quickly and become allies/trading partners. Chaos and orcs seem to be only enemies left… for me atleast 🤷‍♂️

Farm the hero trait that reduces the leadership of units and put em all in a army, pretty good against everything except the slayerking but you should be able to erase him from the map very early Had a very easy time with isabella and her + vampire cap bonus

@@LandofMert76 I’m just saying that I do that 😂 Vlad and Isabella are one of those few factions that are evil and can join the “alliance of order” by going for diplomacy bonuses. 😇 Makes the game way easier and entertaining…. (Should mention that I play on very hard x2) If I wanna be evil and destroy them, then I go my boys, Kemmler and Krell 😈💀
