Sir please tell whether one has to face altitude sickness when visiting leh and if yes what precautions are to be taken especially because my parents are around 45 years of age and worrying a lot about altitude sickness... should they visit leh without care or drop the plan ????

Hello Dear, whosoever wants to plan Leh , first thing which came across is mountain sickness, I will share frankly & honestly: I HAVENT faced any such thing in Leh & I have been to most height places of Leh Ladakh for 10 days. There is more PANIC , then REALITY. Most of Leh vlogs also call for AMS & acclimatisation but don’t know whether they are really facing or just repeating the words. Leh air is really pure & much better than city polluted air , Those who come Leh with fear , will actually face high altitude issues because they keep in their head. Let I give you easy way - before coming to Leh , start doing Yoga & Pranayam, that will help a lot here, after coming here take Comfortable vehicle like Xylo or Innova , drink frequent water , Relax , Enjoy Nature , have fruits & good Food, side by side keep medicines as a first aid & for mire protection,you can keep a oxygen cylinder in your vehicle which you will get at any chemist shop here.
